THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT's WRONG WITH *******S! They don't know jack **** about boxing, but come to message boards and spam their ignorance all over! What the **** does being 29 have anything to do with being past his prime or being shot?
Wow, They had him number six even though he lost to an old Barrera and journey man Raheem before the second fight.
Who had him at #6 and why??! Seriously, as much as you want to teach these *******s a thing or two, they refuse to learn. I think maybe one or two *******s have really embraced the sport and seen the light.
I've already acknowleadged that later in Chavez career he could be a jerk with the press. Chavez was'nt the same in the way he conducted himself after his loss to Randall. There is even a documentary type piece thats on youtube that has past fighters and trainers as eyewitnesses as to when things started to go downhill for Chavez....... Daniel Zaragoza say's in it that we saw the last of the great Julio Cesar Chavez in the Camacho fight.....after that fight, every door in Mexico opened up for Chavez. He was the first athlete in Mexico to have a paraded around the city and on to the steps of where the President lived to be the guest of honor. .......from there, Chavez was seen to be hanging around with celebrities.......and a married man, seen with Mexican actresses....... Chavez took to that type of lifestyle, womanizing, drinking, some stories have him doing even drugs..... .....and thats when it came crumbling down.... Zaragoza went on to say, "after the Camacho fight, the dicipline was no longer there." In subsequent interviews at the very tale end of Chavez' career, Chavez himself admitted his shortcomings as a human being......his immorality and his unfaithfulness to his wife........Chavez is'nt one of those that has'nt come to terms with his own behavior. He's acknowleadged that there was alot of things he regretted that happened while he was still an active fighter. ......and to this day I think those demons still haunt him. Its a pity that almost every fighter or even athlete that reaches that rare level.......climbed that mountain and smell the air very select few get to smell.... Its a pity that when an athlete reaches a certain level, they are idolized, pampered,......and soon enough from their own actions it all comes crumblind down. You have the money, you have the women, you have the fame, you have everything you can possibly want at you say so........my God, where do you get the urge and the passion to want to get up early in the morning and batter your body to be in tip top shape??????? ......and so goes the life of the fighter.......I guarantee you JC Chavez has'nt been the only one to fall into that demonizing trap! So he ignored the press, and stopped signing autographs........none of us has any idea what was going through him on the inside...... All I can say to and about JC Chavez is Thankyou! ......and be appreciative, and feel fortunate that in my lifetime I got to witness one of the very greats. One of the true very elites to ever climb a fighting ring. My God I loved watching that man perform in the ring. To that I can only say "Thankyou Julio Cesar Chavez!" What a fighter......the best fighter that I've ever seen in my lifetime, and I've seen quite a few.:deal
Barrera was past his prime and Morales was weight drained. His biggest Challenge was Marquez and Pac wants none of that.
Barrera had slowed down considerably. All you need to do is watch the Kelly and Tapia fights. You can clearly see he was not the same relentless fighter he once was. Morales was done as a fighter. He couldn't even beat Zahir Raheem and David Diaz ffs.
exactly!! :good im not a big pac fan but he DID fight a prime morales imo well... near prime anyway! i didnt know he got beat before this fight.
im not a ******* you ****ing gobshite!! I hate the ugly little junkie *******!! im just saying that morales wasnt a shot fighter when he fought pac. is that ok?... can I have my opinion please?... or is this YOUR ****in' forum? :fy
sounds about right only that morales still had it in his first where he actually won.. then you could completely see the difference in him in their 2nd and 3rd fights.. and roach already stated that they would fight marquez at 145 cuz they already know what would happen if they fought again below 140..
Morales never took care of himself the guy lived a wild life by the time he fought Pac the second time his time had passed him. He showed up dry and exhausted but he still managed to put up a good fight--definitely not peak!
It's not helpful to downplay Pac's resume, any ****** can see that this mother****er has fought the toughest fights availabe, he has an AMAZING resume. Give credit where credit is due.
You're entitled to your own opinion. You're not entitled to your own facts. If you didn't even know that EM lost to Raheem, wtf are you doing giving your opinion in the first place? Since when is a totally uneducated opinion helpful or something to be proud of?
