Can't see it. Unless he beats both Klitschkos (Which is as close as Haye's going to get to the Holyfield/Klitschko wins of Lewis), then defends his title against top guys for the remainder of his career fighting 2-3 times a year. So it's highly unlikely. The only guy in British boxing I could see equaling Lewis is Khan, and I've not got enough confidence in the lads chin to commit to that statement.
Slightly green Lewis, (The Lewis who got ko'd by McCall, pre Manny Stewart) I agree Out of Shape couldn't give a **** acclimatizing Lewis, (The one who got sparked by Rahman), I agree. Prime Lewis, nah, pass.
Since when was it a pre-requisit for Haye to beat both Klits brothers before he is given a chance to beat the level of LEWIS. Like I said and admitted HAYE will be underdog if he fights Prime Lewis. Prime Tyson will not be a walk in the park for Prime Lewis. As a mattar a fact, I'm leaning towards Tyson but it doesn't mean I'm not a big fan of Lewis! These are fantasy fights which will actually never know the answer.. Yes, Lewis beat Tsyon but I'd be lying if I say LEWIS beat a prime Tsyon right! Nevertheless, the win was impressive. He dominated Iron Mike Tyson
Ok then, what do you think it would take for Haye beat the accomplishments of Lewis if you remove the Klitschkos from the equation? Remove the Klitschkos = Bye bye Hayes chance of ever getting close to Lewis.
I dont' think so. I don't think fights between the best version of those 2 would go to the cards very often. Tyson would keep pressing, and either stop Lewis, or get stopped trying. Realistically, either could happen quite easily.
