Can you help me identify this boxer please?

    I'm trying to identify this boxer I met several years ago at a boxing gym. He said he boxed out of Detroit, held a belt (possibly a minor one), was white, lower weight classes (possibly lightweight), first name Brad, (he was probably active in the 80s or early 90s).

    The only white fighter I can think of -- and he was a middle weight -- that fought outta Detroit's Kronk gym, was Irish Mickey Goodwin -- damn tough kid, who could bang.

    If it wasn't Brett Lally, could it have possibly been Bret Summers? Didn't he hold a quasi-title at one time?

    Could be Bret Summers a white lightweight out of Kronk in that era.

    I'm not sure if it was Brett Lallly. I watched the youtube videos and Brett bares a resemblance to the guy I met. However, the guy I met had been in two major car accidents had scars/slight facial deformity. The guy I met also, was a heavy drinker and looked like he had been for several years. I met this guy in South Western Ontario Canada about 2 hours from Detroit. He also, said he'd done time with Davy (I think it was Davy) Hilton.

    The guy was definitely the real deal knew his stuff about boxing training wise and several of the trainers knew him. So wasn't some guy telling stories. Anyone, know if Lally's been in jail in Canada or a car accident.
