Maybe he'll start off that way, but what is he gonna do when he starts getting tagged? Should be interesting.

haha, probably not. his best chance is to hop into that shell and try to muscle pac around. use his size, counter, get in close, fight dirty and whack him in between flurries with those uppercuts or hooks.

he opens up too much, pac beats him to the punch every time

I honestly and truly believe that Clottey learned his lesson when he fought against Cotto. He knows that he is not only the underdog, but the sacrificial lamb, and a mere afterthought to the international superstar. He realizes that he must not only do better than Pac, but he has to whip his ass good to even earn a draw. And I think he finally realizes that his promoter is definitely not neutral on this one.

I think a sense of pride, defiance, revenge, and the feeling that he is going at it alone has begun to set in on Joshua Clottey, and will motivate him to go balls to the wall on this one.

He knows why he lost a fight agianst Cotto that could have easily been scored in his favor. And he knows he is beyond fortunate to even have this opportunity after that controversial defeat, and will not let this opportunity slip away like the last.

    In short, I believe him.

does it matter..? the only question is if he can go the full 12 rounds without getting stopped. i personally, dont see josh doing anything different than what we've seen.

    bad idea...

when people start talking bout how bigger and stronger they are compare to pac that's the end of them.

"i have the height and reach advantage" - oscar
    "i'm focking massive" - hatton
"i'm the biggest and strongest guy that he will face" - cotto

He will truely be the biggest guy Pac has faced and does have one hell of a chin. I don't see why he wouldn't put it all on the line. But, like Tyson said everybody gots a game plan until they get hit.

Nope. Clottey's ring IQ sits somewhere in between Zab Judah/Vivian Harris and a mud brick.

if i can jump in, the cotto fight for starters. he threw away round after round hiding in his shell hoping the judges would reward him for having a sweet defense. he let cotto pound away when he should have known better; you can't win unless you throw punches and he never once, even for a second changed his strategy he facing a fighter who couldn't really hurt him, who was a sucker for his left uppercut and he seemed to damage with every punch. if clottey used his head he could've knocked cotto out

Oversimplification and overgeneralization on your part.

He outlanded Cotto by over 100 punches in that fight. And he outlanded him in 8 out of 12 Rounds.
