    Mismatch superfight of the decade?

Anyone else got a feeling Bob Arum is looking to keep JuanMA the hell away from Gamboa?
I think Gamboa sparks him early to be honest. :think Too much speed, accuracy and power for JuanMA to handle.

    What do you all think?

i think the better way to analyze them is thru their chins. Each one is more than capable of landing a good shot over the other which is most likely wobbling. Now which fighter recuperates better will be the key. I have Yuriorkis via KO 8rd.

Chins are an important factor no doubt.

I just feel that Gamboa has a totally different dimension to his game, he fought superior amateurs and has a ton worth of experience. Even though JuanMA has championship level experience now, Gamboa trumps him in terms of ring experience, I just dont think it would be very competetive.

Lopez money thing is the lead left hand followed by a right hook, he does this over and over, and it has worked with lesser opponents but Gamboa will see that **** coming a mile off and put some leather on Juan Manuel.

Why fight now when they can build their records and make a huge pot of money further down the road, + the fight would mean more.

But if I'm being honest I want this fight to happen yesterday!

True, experience wise, gamboa may have fought more in the ring and has better skills, i've also seen him decked by lesser fighters. He went on to win it tho. Point is, Gamboa is not in a really smooth road here. Juan Ma will KO him if he gets careless.

Here we go...this is an old argument. Juan Ma has nothing to do in the ring with Gamboa. Too much power, speed, pride, aggressiveness and boxing skills in general will make Gamboa not only look bad Juan Ma but will disgrace his career by providing him with a fulminant KO in less than 5. You don't realize that Gamboa belongs to a different boxing class. Boxers like him are getting extinct. Boxers than don't only fight for fame or money but because of love for boxing and show that there is nobody better, faster and stronger in boxing than him. If Juan Ma dear to touch Gamboa..that's going to be his end...because El Ciclon will wipe him out right back. Wait and see! Nothing can/will stop Gamboa.

The more emotional investment you put in before the fight is really big, the less it means to you when it finally happens.
Let's just wait and see how it plays out.

Great fight. If and when it happens, a stoppage will occur prior to the halfway point.

Personally I favor Gamboa whose speed I think will exploit the hitch in JuanMa's straight left.

Gamboa would spank that ass, but Arum is smart in keeping them apart from each other for now, let them become bigger names in the sport and then make a super fight, why put two great young fighters against each other now when they can both be doing damage for you else were

Right!! This fight is going to make me lose a lot of money if Juanma were to actually come up with a win.... hate to do this with 1 of my guys but this is how one sided I see this thing going... Anyways, this fight is not going to happen anytime soon, if ever, since Bob knows better than cashing out any of his "super" stars so early..
