Dick Tiger against Marvin Hagler would have been a war..Tiger was a stronger and more durable fighter than any of Haglers foes..Tough to pick winner. What say you?

Tiger would indeed be better than anybody Marvin ever fought. This would an even and extremely hard-fought match down to the very end. Hagler will be in the fight of his life, yet still be able to pull this out by a few points, literally.

What a war it would be. Hagler being more multi-faceted would see him win on points but the shots they exchange on each others iron chins would be breathtaking.

I think Tiger might just be too strong for Marvin, if they were to meet in their primes.
Marvin was an exceptionally good technical boxer but I dont see him as being able to adjust to a "cute" enough strategy to outpoint Tiger. I think it would be a close and brutally-fought affair, lots of accurate punching, with Tiger edging it and being more effective coming forward more often. I'm not ready to write Hagler off though - my pick is : Tiger, probably, and only by a hair.

This would be a great fight. Hagler is more skilled but Tiger has he strength and roughness to make up for it. I see it as a 50/50 fight. A three fight series would probably end 1-1-1.

Hagler would make his bones (if he hadn't already). What a fight.

Hagler could box to a decision if he was smart. If he makes a wrong move tactically, which is possible to be fair, then he gets beaten.

Hagler needs to us his boxing skills here and if he does he wins a 10-5 or wider type of decision. If he fights the wrong fight I still see him having more variety and sufficient durability to edge out a war. Hagler was just better

I recently did a poster for this in the fantasy fights thread.

I can see both men winning this one, but as people have already said....if Hagler fights smart and boxes well, I can see him winning a close UD or SD.

Tiger will keep him at bay and win some rounds early on, but Hagler a slow starter will show his resiliance into a late stoppage or UD.
