Both on the undercard of the Lindsay fight on March 19th, neither of them have an opponent - why doesn't Maloney just throw them both in the ring against each other?

Ferguson seems like a nice guy, but he isn't great and I think it would be an easy fight for Price, but Price needs these type of opponents to at least start progressing - I mean his best opponent so far has been Ingleby, and when considering he has had 4 fights and holds a Olympic bronze medal that is shocking.

Stop holding Price back and make it happen Maloney :deal

he needs sunderland fighters on his bills for the Jeffries fans.

Maloney is the worst promoter in terms of progression.

Precisely, which is why I don't understand why someone like big Pricey would have signed with him. Surely Warren would have been keen to have taken him on??

Hasn't done Clev or Tony Bellew any harm??

I think he could manage Chisora and Price

warren offered deals to Jeffires and Price before they chose Hobson/hayemker and then went to Maloney.

aparrently both went back to warren after the hobson/hayemaker fell through and warren said no.

First I've heard about Price but I knew Jeffries tried approaching Warren again.

I'd heard Warren had offered them something before they signed with their first promoters but didn't know he knocked them back before they teamed up with the garden gnome.

Price has decent potential IMO which is being seriously stunted at the moment by lack of quallity opponents and inactivity for whatever reasons. Decent power, all the attributes and a good head on his shoulders - would be a shame if he didn't make the most of it. Plenty of time yet though I guess...

I agree that I would like to see him a lot more active. Even if the quality wasn't great at least he'd be learning something.

Paul Butlin, Danny Hughes, Lee Swaby etc. Any of these would be fine IMO for Price, someone who is at least a slightly credible opponent. I haven't seen many prospects with a worse record than what Price has right now.

Pricey is sparring Ferguson now and was offered a good deal of FW but just simply chose Maloney, You never know what could happen in the future...:good

Pricey is the best conditioned heavyweight in Europe and has the ability to go with it without doubt!!
