i agree with that. i think floyd would beat pacquiao if they fought, but until then, i think pacquiao's resume is a bit better.

And 15 people on this board agreed. :think:lol::lol::lol::lol:

If all he is banking on is his 40-0, get to Marciano's numbers, then we'll talk.

Ooops, I said it too soon, he might line up all the jr welters and light weights... :deal

Pac's resume is not better than Floyds. Had PAc fought a prime MAB and prime EM, I'd consider his resume just as good as Floyd's. PAc is living off the names of old men who had wars well before PAc fought them. PAc has no business being mentioned with atg's and legends...

Didn't jr crack have 7 losses in the amateurs at the same age when pac was losing to pros? Why did crack jr loose at the Olympics ?the rules are made for his boring slap and run style. Sugar RL slapped his daddy so hard it damaged the DNA he passed on to crack Jr.

Will Floyd ever reach the level of Calzaghe and retire at 48-0?

You do realize that in the past 5 years Floyd has faced Henry Bruseles, Gatti, Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah, Baldomir, ODLH, Hatton and Marquez right?? I mean seriously the biggest knock against floyds all time great status is his resume. And I don't want to here the bull**** about lineal champs, p4p #2, top JWW, ATG fighters. The truth is he made Marquez jump 3 weight classes and still didn't respect the catchweight, fought hatton a JWW who by his own admission doesn't belong in a WW fight (see Hatton vs. Collazo), and an old past it former great in ODLH who lost two of his last 3 going into the fight and proceeded to look terrible against Forbes and be dominated by Pac and retire. Floyd was fighting good fighters at 130 and 135, but over the last 5 years his resume stinks.

No way in hell he is greater than those people he mentioned. SRR is the best ever, Mayweather still has a lot to prove, he is on his way there but not yet. Right now I consider RJJ greater than him or Pacman and RJJ is definitely not the GOAT
