Middleweights: On a Head to Head basis who comes out on top?

    Yeah but seriously, H2H, Hagler crushes Monzon and Hopkins. And Greb is folklore.

    So you think that Jones would beat these guys.

    That I could understand if not agree with.

    But to suggest that they couldnt win a round against him is ridiculous.

    People actually think this though. Monzon is not an aesthetically pleasing fight but he is brutally effective

    I think Robinson at his MW best beats any MW Ive seen on film TBH.

    Basically, as discussed several times over the years, the majority rule is for Monzon. However, having someone like Hagler who presses his foes and stifles them, who's to say this wouldn't be effective against Carlos? Who's to say Bob Fitz couldn't knock out both these guys and Sugar Ray as well (I do not believe this though ;)? Maybe even Flowers pops up and beats Greb en route. I absolutely love the middleweight division historically, my number one passion. I think no other division has such a split amongst fans over 2/3 guys being the number one.

    I think lightweight is up here with mw. WW too if not for Robinson as a clear cut number one.
