FAIL. Even Raul Midon knows Floyd didn't win the first Castillo fight...

Floyd's self-proclaimed greatness hinges on 2 false assumptions:

    1) An undefeated record is the key to greatness (which, IF true, means Marciano, Chavez Jr. and Calzaghe are all better than Money, as others have already said)

    2) Junior and super belts in each weight class he's been in put Floyd in a category all his own (which is also flawed logic because in the days of boxers like Robinson and Ali, who Floyd compares himself to, they didn't have "juniors" and "supers" attached to each weight class like they do now. These days you can win the junior lightweight, lightweight and super lightweight belts and be a 3-division champ, whereas it was only possible for a guy like Robinson to win one even if he cleaned out everyone in a division. If you're gonna compare yourself to past fighters, you need to make sure you're using the same stick to measure everyone). Manny Pacquiao actually has belts in more weight classes than Floyd, so Floyd still isn't the best even if we give him this assumption.

Floyd is a GREAT boxer, don't get me wrong, and certainly an all-time great. Unfortunately, it's uneducated, DISRESPECTFUL comments like this toward the guys that paved the way for him that turn a lot of would-be Floyd fans away. :patsch

But were not talking about accomplishments, were talking about undefeated records which Floyd and his fans base everything on.

When we compare him to SRR who has 20 odd losses it is then about losses and being undefeated?

Yea maybe Floyds record and accomplishments shits on someone who has 50-0 record but SRR shits on Floyds record who has 40-0.

The better question or poll would be the following: Would Mayweather be the ATG with the least respect???:good

Me thinks this is a load of bollocks and people are getting worked up over nothing. In other words a thread has been started to get more anti Mayweather folks to slag him off. I do find it annoying that many people have asked where this story eminated from, however having read through 12 pages, not one person has posted a direct link to these so called quotes. Which begs the question, why start a thread like this is in the first place and not back it up with substantial evidence? As a Mayweather fan I don't think he would be stupid enough to make a statement like that. Losing a fight doesn't stop you from being classed as the greatest boxer. This story is bollocks, until proven otherwise!

"I am greater than Robinson, Ali, Armstrong, Leonard, & Pacquiao put together"

    Lets see.... 1 + 2 + 3 + 10 + 25 = around 40th place ATG. (places are approximations)

Sounds about right, good job Floyd, you pass the 1st grade!
