They were all sublime. Been telling everyone about this series. My personal faves were Burley and Robinson, reading them was like watching one of them youtube tribute vids with the majestic music in the background.

I liked the Burley one the best, he sounds like a true unsung hero

 

Man, I said earlier what my favourite one was but after re-Reading a few favourites again I'm almost certain that my favourites are Archie Moore and Henry Armstrong.

As someone who is massively interested in Greb, the Norfolk narrative was extremely engrossing. I could read a novel by Stonehands just detailing Grebs fights.

Eloquently written without being pretentious: an all-round triumph and great achievement.

I liked all of them in their own way.

Each one was different and focussed on different things that added to the appeal. All of them were of an equally high standard.

 

Really, the Robinson one stood out for me even amongst such a great series.

and

'The gods themselves throw incense'

are just unreal, that's all i can say.
