Arthur Abraham is a flat footed crude slugger, and the single most over rated fighter in the world today. Bronco McKart is under rated and would have made a damn fine world titlist if he had not had a little problem named Winky Wright. Zuniga, Miranda, and Taylor would have all knocked out the sick and injured version of Pavlik that Hopkins fought. Arthur Abraham blatantly ducked Fulgencio Zuniga. Leonard beat Haglar CLEARLY. Hearns lost to Haglar because his huge freaking ego would not allow him to box his way to a decision.
Morales could have beat Hamed by stoppage in a brawl of a fight, likely without being knocked down himself. Hopkins could have beat Roy Jones in a rematch earlier on. I had Leonard 8-4 over Hagler
Yeah hearns beating everyone in the current gen of welters? Of course he would, thats not controversial at all
Hell, a Prime Mosley, Trinidad and DLH would beat every top welter of the last 5 years. I'd even give Ike Quartey a chance to beat every WW of the last 5 years.
absolutely. It's funny that they were calling it a golden age for WW the past couple years, when now Mosley is the last man standing I've always said DLH/Tito/Shane would have dominated this era of WW
yeah but he was extending it to include, dlh, mosley ect so really the last welters for about the last 10 years or so. Which really I think hearns doesnt have a problem beating. There was an indepth thread on just that, my general opinion is that trinidad has the best chance of winning with a knock out but that is a very small chance. Because none of them are out boxing him.
Riddick Bowe could have been the greatest HW ever Floyd Mayweather is the most physically talented boxer of the last twenty years Evander Holyfield was the dirtiest fighter of his generation
No I said I haven't seen alot of SRR, or at least I meant to. I hope I didn't type the wrong letter atsch
This is a "CONTROVERSIAL boxing opinions" thread and you are getting on my case because I think SRL won the fight :rofl:rofl:rofl Pick your battles man, time and place..
remember when oba carr was a beast? lol i think he would have been a tough fight for a lot of the WW of this era. Fernando was another one. a lot of good matchups.
if Vargas wouldn't have been pushed along so quickly he would have had way moreeeee successful career.
