What warriors share your last name?

Josias Cabral. Even though I never saw a fight out of him.

 

There is no boxer that shares my name, McLovin.

 

None that I know of.

 

Family legend has it that the World Middleweight Champ Jack Dempsey "Non-Pareil" who was born John Edward Kelly in Ireland took his name from my great great grandfather on my mum's side "fighting" Jack Dempsey a notorious Irish bare knuckle prize fighter that fought all comer's on the New York docks.

So impressed was Kelly that he took my forefathers name for his ring name, every Irish family know doubt has a tale to tell, but i'am sure that this one has more fact to it than fiction.

My grandmothers last name is Sanchez and there's a lot of boxers with that last name.

Well, theres the great wee little man Jackie Paterson and there is a reaosnable chance would could be very distantly related as he is Scottish and same spelling as my last name.
