More importantly, Chavez was naturally bigger than Barrera and had a more powerful, versatile, and consistant right hand. Chavez's chin and toughness was A+, not to many fighters had as good a chin as that man did. Wasn't a great deal between the men's left hooks however. Barrera's was faster, Chavez's was harder.

ULi on the ball...this whole debate made me watch a lot video of Chavez and his opponents. The video speaks for itself most people describe Chavez as the classical pressure fighter--this could not be further than the truth. Chavez could intuit his opponents movements come in land his shots and get out without being hit with a clean shot. It was not until he wore his opponents down that he came in like a battering ram. Chavez with his trademark right and left to the body would have broken down Pac easily. I honestly believe that Pac could have been beaten by a prime Rosario.

Rosario, Camacho, Taylor, Haughen, Terrance Ali, Mayweather, Martinez.

His right hand was so hard that the left to the body or head would enter with ease...

Yes :good, Chavez was an excellent boxer and I favor his superior technical skills to carry him to the victory (inside the distance?).

Hello Soriano. You're the worst poster of all time next to Enzo, and no, it's not a coincidence you're both *******s.

Why does Pacquiao win this, what Chavez fights have you seen?

Take out the **** of JCC so you'll see the bigger picture..

I know he is a legend. Too bad he lost match ups on great big fights!
PAC lost when he was still a NOBODY in boxing. He also lost to Morales but went back to win 2 demolishing wins!

JCC - HE NEVER get passed ODLH, Even lowly Tsyzu!

Dont' get me wrong buddy! JCC is one hell of a great boxer but insinuating that it's a walk in the park for him fighting Pac is insane!

    ...What? :huh

Julio Cesar Chavez was beaten when he was past his prime, and Pernell Whitaker and Oscar De La Hoya would have done a similar job to Pacquiao at 147lbs in my judgment.

    ...I just can't compute this ****. :-((

I've insinuated that where? My issue lies with the clueless, dumb Pacquiao fans who come on here and don't even give reasoning for their answers. They don't give reasoning because they don't know what would happen, and they probably haven't seen any footage of Julio Cesar Chavez at all.

I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. Why does Pacquiao win, and what Chavez fights have you seen in there entirety?

The LOWLY Tszyu? wtf are you talking about? Young KT was a ****ing BEAST at 140 and he's definitely in the conversation about all time best 140 lb EVER, in fact I would take him over both JCC and Pac at 140 in his prime. ODLH was ODLH, an ATG welterweight and JCC was far past his prime in both fights.
