Yeah he probably should too. Without sounding too harsh I don't think he has what it takes mentally to hack it as a pro. He could probably get in a few entertaining domestic scraps. He wouldn't get to EBU level in my opinion nevermind world level. So he wouldn't exactly earn a fortune and would probably end up with a very moderate record. Better to stick with the Ams and go for gold in London I reckon
i well enjoyed it and the few clips of emmaunel augustus.love it actually **** it enjoy [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6z2UE0hdT8[/ame]
Id say so, If he was gonna go pro he would've done it after Beijing. Hes 28/29 so no point in turning now and he hasnt got a style suited to the pro ranks anyway. Hes adapted to the amatuer points system anyway and at is age I doubt he could be changed.
i hope so hed be stupid to turn pro now ifhe was gonna shouldve been right after bejing tbh i dont think hed be a good proffesion anyway.europeon level at the very best might aswell reach for the stars and go for gold in 2012
predictions for the seniors.... ahern nevin mccullough??... dont really no the two lads do joyce donnelly quigley egan sheehan mcmonagle and im prob just saying quigley because he beat me ha but he boxed very well against o'kane lastnite and cud pull off an upset with o'neill having a much easier route to the final and not being as ring sharp at the minute. do joyce already beat donovan handy at 57kg and looked good against hickey will be a close win dis time.

I manage to have a good night in London on Friday[ many a beer was supped in the Tower Hotel overlooking the magnificent Tower Bridge], allowing for the fact that Sinclair lost, and I lost quite a few quid to boot. The money I could afford to lose, watching Sinclair lose was harder to accept. Talking to Gasman after the fight, we both concluded that Neil should hang up his gloves, but on reflection, and having watched the fight several times again, on hindsight that was my disappointment talking. Sinky lost a three round fight, and its clear now he is not a three round boxer anymore. His work was rushed and too urgent, thus he was too anxious to explode his bombs. But unfortunately the defeat closes the doors for big fights in Britain, but if Sinclair is serious about continuing his career[ and I don't know if this is the case or not], then there's a ready made contest for him in James Moore on the 17th of April in The Citywest Dublin. Podge if your reading this, plant the seed in Egan's ear, let's get this fight made. Boxing News also tipped Sinclair to win this Prizefighter tournament, so it wasn't blind biased when we made our predictions last week. Talking about Boxing News, there was a great piece on Dunne's retirement, and also they asked various personalities who the next Irish star would be? I found it very interesting that Frank Warren said Brian Magee, as Pat Magee[ Brian's manager] stated in the Belfast Telegragh article below that he expects a deal with a major British promoter to be announced soon. As the saying goes, watch this space. Whoops, just seen that slappyatsch INTRODUCING CHRIS O'BRIEN [is that big enough for yeah] http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/february10/feb10_obrien_blackpool.html What did you think of Sinky and Prizefighter, and a potential fight with James Moore?
