    5. Arthur Abraham
    6. Robert Stieglitz
    7. Andre Dirrell

My top ten would go like this:

    1. Arthur Abraham
    2. Lucian Bute
    3. Andre Ward
    4. Mikkel Kessler
    5. Carl Froch
    6. Andre Dirrell
    7. Sakio Bika
    8. Eduard Gutkneckt
    9. Edison Miranda
    10. Allan Green

-Arthur Abraham just seems so strong, and he just can't get knocked out, we know that for a fact...
-Lucian Bute is so slick and has amazing skills, and perhaps power as well, but he lost to Andrade the first time (Kessler dominated Andrade more for 12 rounds, without running out of steam.
-Andre Ward, well get him a couple of high class opponents, and he'll probably end up high in the future p4p rankings.
-Kessler had a bad night when he faced Ward, I really belive he will wipe out Froch, he's technically sound and is tough, which means he'll not have to run like those pure boxers such as Jermain and Dirrell.
-Carl Froch, well you have to give him credit for rising to the occasion every time, even though it has been very tight the last to times with jermain and dirrell
-Andre Dirrell would have won against froch if he had boxed a little more instead of running and complaining. I believe he realizes that and is a better fighter today because of it.
-Bika is a tough guy who will do anything to win, including reminding Green why he lost to Miranda. No doubt that he would have wore down the bigtalking Green. He surprised everyone with a gritty performance against Calzaghe.
-Gutkneckt? What a surprise, well he's scheduled to face Stieglitz next, and I think he has what it takes to win it. He beat Karoly Balszay by SD after the ungarian had outboxed Stieglitz in his recent fight but was wiped out after an unlucky cut that made him blind.
-Edison Miranda is a dangerous puncher but he's without a chance against the top guys, give him credit for the Green win, but unless he gets a big win in the near future he'll forever be a gatekeeper which is a shame
-Well what has Green done to deserve the Super Six spot? He's a good fighter, no question, but come on, talking you're way in, when you've already lost to Miranda and being a heavy underdog against Bika... I think they should have excused to Bute from the get go and have him instead.

Well I guess I will be whipped for this list?

The thread read best supermiddle, with that being said I have to go with Bute over Abraham because he's been more active in that division. Would be a very good fight however when they meet.

If (when imo) Froch beats Kessler then he should undoubtably be no 1. After victories over Taylor, Dirrell and Pascal i think he should be deemed no 1 now but if victorious against Kessler it should be beyond doubt. I will add i expect a late stoppage and he will probably have been outboxed in places and behind on cards but will remain unfazed and stop Kessler.

Bute would beat froch badly head to head. Never going to see it happen because Froch will probably lose his next two fights. Bute has too much speed and power and moves around the ring nicely. He would make froch look really bad

Totally agree with you. Awful awful list.

Rankings have to be based on what has been achieved.

Its like the League table in football. The team on top deserves to be there.

So you can't put AA to the top because you feel he will be the best. He has to go out there and earn his place at the top.

Say what you like about froch but without a shadow of a doubt he has earned one of the top 2 spots!

Not a good time for this poll and from the results it is obvious that there is no clear cut answer. All 4 are arguably the best SMW right now. Fortunately with the S6, we will have answers soon enough. Sit back and enjoy. Until then I respect all of your opinions. Nobody can win an argument on this subject right now.
