    Well, this was the most recent fight I took in while youtube surfing. Thought I'd let you all know the full fight is up, if you're interested and the quality is very good, considering. I would've posted both parts but I've had a thread deleted a while back because apparently it's not allowed to post full fights from youtube.

    Here's part two with the vicious kayo combo that ends it in the seventh. Kobayashi was a very fine fighter and Duran was stepping up in class, but it was still a shutout for Duran up to that point, imo. Bob Sheridan laughs while quoting Duran saying he'll still be fighting at 45. :lol: I almost expected Sheridan to quote him saying he's going to be a Middleweight Champion by the time he's in his late thirties too.

    Oh, I love this fight. Great thread. It's one of the few pre-title winning (and, indeed, post-title winning) fights that hasn't been filmed on a home-made camcorder held by somebody in the 253rd row. Kobayashi was a former world-titleist with several defences, and Duran just ran him over. He got hit a fair bit, but overall it was a fantastic showcase of his offensive arsenal ending in a ****ing savage KO. Kobayashi took a shitload of punishment in the process, tough guy. I love the crowd's reaction when he finally ices him with that right-left-right combination as well.

    Hindsight is obviously a wonderful thing, but Sheridan still does a brilliant job here - adds so much excitement.

    Nice one, this is one of my favorite Duran fights, such a good finish as well.

    :lol: I think every one of us who surfs youtube for fights is familiar with the feeling of getting excited to find a fight uploaded and then getting that camcorder business and cementing a six-hour frown onto our faces.

    "Hey, what's wrong with you?"
    "I finally found the pro debut of-but then it was just-frickinfrackin never mind what's wrong with me! I've gotta go brood in the dark corner of the basement for a few hours with a bottle of whiskey. See you later."

    Unless I'm the only one who takes it that hard.

    Duran destroys Kobayashi. Damn good fight, Duran was conceding weight here as far as I know but managed to take him out. One of the best examples of his early career pure aggression. Patient with it though.

    The haters (such as Pachilles) are just **** stirrers with no knowledge of the game. Don't let 'em get to ya', I just use them for comedy value:D

    Yeah they don't get to me Flea, i like Pachilles regardless, don't know the others too well but he's okay. It seems to just be banter between us. The others i can't take serious so it doesn't matter.
