    Nah, you're not :good

Carnera gets a bad rep. If people watched him they'd see he was a good mover for a big guy, with a good chin and MASSIVE DURABILITY LEVELS.

We're talking about prime versions of the Klitschkos though (I think). Wlad against Sanders and Brewster (first fight) is what Tyson was in the mid 90s- not in his prime. WK doesn't have an ATG chin, but he does have an ATG defence. He's harder to hit than you are making out

Its true Vitali is an accumulation puncher, but you can bet a prime VK in the 30s or 40s, wearing the size of gloves a middleweight would wear today, would have one punch power.

Again, you're letting slide of the fact that smaller gloves can hamper punching power, especially for someone as injury prone as Vitali.

Also, would be as hard to hit against the offensive beasts we are talking about?

I'll take your word for that, but it seems like a fair point in Vitali's case. I hate getting drawn into these era comparisons

Let Jack Johnson in the ring with tha fool and he stretches him. Like a rug.

Especially a Jack Johnson on the juice. I would bet my life on it.

A Jack Johnson (6ft 1.5) fighting in modern times has to wear modern sized gloves. If modern heavyweights fighting in the past have to adjust to smaller gloves, then it works both ways for the fighters of the past

Even if you made a super Klitschkos with Wlad's power, technique, defence and athleticism, combined with Vitali's chin and natural fighting instinct- even then every atom in my body tells me people here would still claim things like Frazier KO1 Klitschko. That's not to say everyone is that biased, but there are a lot of people who clearly are

    Not steroids, per se...

But modern boxers have access to supplements that are exponentially more effective and powerful than raw eggs and ****. And they have doctors who can monitor such things as caloric intake, body fat count, and many other things that make today's athletes light years ahead of the guys from just 25 years ago.

    It makes a huge difference.

Give a guy with the same work-ethic, strong will, and mental toughness of a guy like Ali, Frazier, or especially Jacks (Dempsey or Johnson) the modern regiment and the Klit boys would get obliterated.

I personally feel Johnson would be one fighter that wouldn't match up well with previous eras

The Klitschko's are two big circus freaks, and would have been blown away in minutes had they faced an explosive, unpredictable guy like Max Baer (see Baer vs Carnera and notice how similar Carnera is to Vitali). But almost all of the great HW champs before them would have beaten them, especially prime Tyson, Marciano, Dempsey, Ali and Louis.

Lennox was also a big bum who would have met the same fate had he faced the ATGs mentioned above.
