it depends what you're looking for. for me, it's the way he outclassed corrales(r.i.p.) I also like the beating he put on gatti(r.i.p)

    Corrales.

Floyd was probably the underdog going in and completely dominated him.

Corrales. He made him look stupid. Sad but true.

    R.I.P Corrales.

i voted for hatton because hatton was technically difficult for floyd, with his in and out movement and spitefulness, but floyd handled him!

honestly... jmm is pretty impressive.... i mean he reduced jmm to looking like a total scrub... like if you never saw jmm fight you would think he wasnt p4p top 100

against those other guys floyd just looked that much better than him... but against jmm he made him look pitiful

    hard to explain

Mosley would've killed JMM on that night. He was nothing more than a lightweight with excess fat and no mobility.

If we're going by the quality of opponent at the weight Floyd fought them, it's Diego Corrales. Most picked Floyd to lose, Corrales was undefeated (albeit with some outside-the-ring issues), and Floyd destroyed him. He showed just how good he was that night.

mosley would just over power jmm tho... not outskill

nobody could have virtually just OUTSKILLED jmm the way floyd did

    1) Corrales- a perfect performance, he really did absolutely no wrong in this bout
    2) Hernandez- especially considering he was fighting the legit champ in his second year as pro
    3) Judah- a very tough style matchup and he outhought him and broke him down
    4) NDou- breathtaking performance, really exhibited his entire skillset
    5) Gatti- spotless, but loses points b/c it was really that easy
    6) Jesus Chavez- that uppercut just would not miss, against a guy that was ready to die in that ring
    7) Hatton- again, outthought him and broke him down, exhibited his higher ring IQ
    8) Manfredy- completely blasted him out

I was tempted to pick the Gatti fight, but I picked Corrales. Believe it or not, the Corrales fight was one where many people thought Mayweather could lose. I'm not even sure if he was the favorite. If he was, he was no heavy favorite. But in retrospect, I don't see how anyone could think Gatti had a chance in Hell against Mayweather. I remember even Roy Jones was like, "ho-hum...just like I said." Another thing...aside from that slightly cheap shot in the 1st, Mayweather couldn't put Gatti down. Does anyone honestly believe that Gatti could have taken those shots against someone like Pacquiao or Mosley without going down?

Gatti was his best performance but Corrales was his best win IMO.
