How would you feel if the Mayweather fight never happened?

BOB ARUM: I would absolutely be content.

FREDDIE ROACH: I do want Manny to fight him and I know Manny would knock him out and then the whole world will be happy.

MANNY PACQUIAO: Yes, I’m OK. I don’t need to fight him.

Mayweather didn't win fighter of the decade.

I think he is a great talent, but he is in the shadow of pacquiao, and he will be until he beats him.

 I can't get enough of this. Any how, after May 1st there may not be anyone else. But unlike Mayweather, Pacquiao can fight at 140 and clean up.

That was a nice article, SAN RAFAEL.

I hoped so dearly 4 da Mar. 13th with PBF-PAC. Mosley is a nice replacement barring age. SSM is still very marketable. Gud choice for a WW title shot nd name recognition.

Clottey iz a mf'n BEAST. I thought he coulda recieved a DRAW or maybe a tight dec win. Miguel Cotto came strong n da Ch. rds nd pulled it out. Joshua has n extremely great arsenal. It kinda scares me vs any southpaw. Ask Zab Judah (2 division champ) about dat! JC is a tested WW nd former World Champ.

PAC-MAN improves wit every fight nd iz on a winning streak against da best. I thought Miguel Cotto was 2 big nd DLH. Da little Pinoy iz kickin azz. I think he's gonna b a hungry wolverine against a bigger nd stronger wolf.

If Pac and Floyd keep winning and blatantly avoid fighting each other, wouldn't that seem like the most ridiculous thing ever? It would be an embarrassment for the sport of Boxing to say the least. I'll continue to watch the sport because there is life outside of these two goons. In fact my top ten favorite fighters don't include either of them so I'm indifferent as to what they do or don't do.

PS. Pac, you are right. You don't need to fight Floyd. So please retire after defeating Clottey so that people will stop talking about you and you can become a fat politician. Thanks.

This is news? This is threadworthy? Floyd said the same thing. They're like Russia and the U.S. Oh yeah we say we're cool, but there's still some tension there.

Pac won't clean out 140 as he said he does not need to fight Marquez again...

And your point? Marquez isn't a 140 fighter anyways, in fact I don't think hes ever even had a fight at 140 so definately not rated there. So not fighting him would have no affect on his ability to clear out 140. I mean fights Bradley, Maidena, maybe Valero if Valero can get to 140 and others like Paulie.

I really do think boxing needs this fight.

I mean it will survive either way but this fight would give it a really big boost.

With UFC looking to chokehold the PPV revenue away from boxing, I think Team Pac and Team Money should stop being ***gots and give the public what they want.

How are you gonna argue about him not having to fight because Marquez ain't 140 than throw Valero who ain't either into you're arguement. Valero and Marquez are both 135 so if you ain't gonna count one don't count the other. Especially seeing as Marquez has competed ABOVE 140 and Valero hasn't even competed at 140.

Timothy Bradley, Edwin Valero, and Maidana in that order and he can call it quits.
