I wouldnt say it's "very young".

I say it's more of a niche market type of thing.

Like most boxers here would be perfectly happy campaigning their whole careers in the southeast asian circuit, earn some money every few months (boxing is more like a sideline job for most of the boxers) and then maybe get a big time title challenge or two in Japan or Korea before they retire.

With that frame of mind, boxers "ripen" at the right time, everything comes naturally, and when they see that they really are ready for the big time, usually, they do give a good competitive fight abroad, win or lose.

But because of the express lane to the US that Pacquiao busted wide open since he became a boxing star, every kid now wants to jump straight to the big fights.

They overreach too soon. When before, they are patient and are willing to go through all the necessary steps to make it big.

The promise of dollars in prize money sort of makes them rush things.

And BTW, there are some good trainers here. You cant produce guys like Gerry Penalosa without good teachers. The Penalosa brothers are good.

It's just many of them are still old school type trainers without a lot of modern nutrition, strength training and new boxing techniques.

Not since Oscar has he worked with anybody. Oscar messed up he fired him and then asked him to come back and since then nothing. I think that he could do wonders with Paulie Malignaggi.

Mayol is fine he was followed by Nino's Team his activities were as follows below is my translation of the text

“Sequence of the farce of Rodel Mayol”.

“1. - On the canvas, Mayol received indications from his corner member to remain lying down on the canvas, whereas Vic Drakulich did not know whether to count him out or to help him.

“2. - Doctor Nadia Calf Medina declared, Mayol was found to be under good neurological conditions.

“3. - Paramedics placed Mayol on an ambulance which did not go anywhere minutes later Mayol walked off the ambulance.

“4. - Later his trainer insisted that he (Mayol) be taken to the Military Hospital
    where his prognosis was normal.

    5. - At 2:!5 am, Mayol left the hotel where he was staying, with three members of his team; they approached a taxi took that them to the Golden gentleman's club.

    6. - 4:20 a.m. Mayol returned and appeared to be “very happy”.

First off Chavez Junior is a joke so I don't care about what he does as it is obvious the kid sucks.

Second off Chango was a last minute replacement who can't make it as a straweight he was cherry picked by Nonito to fight him at fly

Nino was punished and unless he tests possitive again that issue is water under the bridge

Margarito got caught doing something he was not supposed to it is a shame what he did.

However, that does not change the fact that your prospects can not get passed Mexico's non-elite fighters

    :hi:

PHILOS had KTFO Mexican bums easy so that throws your "our prospect cant beat your non elite " theory in the garbage.

The FILOS lost mostly to established names in the business like Montiel, De leon, Solis, Morales, Marquez, Segura,Sosa and NINO are elite fighters those are expected losses. What non elite fighter?

Most losses came from established or high ranked Mexican BOXER the real deal the creme of cream.I was sad what happened to my BOY SONSONA.But he will be back.I still think he has the potential.

I think it was a stupid gameplan- use his speed throw down why was he waiting to get KO"ED by that pretty boy? I think SNR changed his style, damn!!
