I won't make a notable difference vs. Lesnar. Maybe if this was a couple years putting on some good quality mass plus adding strength, but putting some fat, water and little bits of muscle on that quickly may only hinder him and could fair worse against lesnar if he's slower and has less endurance which is likely with a fast weight gain.
This makes perfect sense. IMO Mir can't stand with Lesnar which I found a bit surprising since Mir is generally good on his feet. Either Mir was afraid of Brock's power or he couldn't find his range. Brock has the amazing wrestling skill too, when you're solid muscle mass & you know how to apply the weight at the right point you're hard to submit.
I lol'd:rofl in relation to the post i think they are both capable of winning this fight as they both bring advantages to the ring - one thing i woudl have to say though is lesnar is in a worse position in terms of if he lost than mir - by that i mean if mir loses - he loses to an up and coming heavy weight with the possibility of cleaning out the HW division - if lesnar loses however i think he may be regarded as nothing more than a WWF 'could of been'.
Could have been? He's destroyed a few of the top guys and is, was, the reigning champ. He's done enough to A: Be taking serious as an mma fighter and B: actually claim the heavyweight title while he was still wet behind the ears. I'm not sure why people still question is ability :huh
Im not saying he cant be taken seriously a guy of those dimensions would always be taken seriously - although he has wins over couture, it was an old couture who i dont think had the stamina to cope with a guy of brocks dimensions - i agree with the earlier post why not let lesnar improve on his record for a while and then have a rematch, gives him the chance to improve on aspects of his fighting and give him more experience - i would think dana would want to squeeze every bit out of this feud for as long as possible.
You can't really "bring up" the current champion. It is important that he faces the most deserving opponents every time out because he is the champion.
That is an opinion, not a fact. It should be an interesting fight for sure, after mirs recent comments I hope Carwin does him in, but I would favour mir.

It's certainly a possibility, I'll definately give you that. Once something happens once, it can surely happen again. But in that regard, what happened in the first fight can potentially happen again, but of course in a different fashion:deal I'm just hoping Mir gets past Carwin. While I'm confident he can win, just simply based off being the better and smarter fighter, Carwin does possess that one punch wonder. That's never to be underestimated. But I'm just glad Lesnar is in a position where I can root against him again. I'm glad he's in good health and came out of his situation ok. If anything both Mir and Lesnar have that in common. They both went through a really bad situation and made it back. But with that being said, looks like we joust again when the rubber match is signed, jrow:thumbsup
i agree with you mir is the better fighter so far,we havent seen to much from carwin other than his one punch knock out power.i am excited to see this match.it will be like mir fighting someone with the same size and wrestling ability as lesnar.we will see how much his weight gain is helping him out.
