Warren wins Mitchell-Katsidis purse bid!!!!!!!!

    Warren made a bid of $515,000. Purse split will be 80-20 in Katsidis' favour and the fight will be in England! Date and venue to be announced.

    Fightnews also reckon the fight will take place in May.

    expected this from warren since khan left him, the man will have to dip in his pocket now an again to keep mitchell, cleverly an brook sweet.

    Great stuff. Hopefully Warren sticks this in a big arena with a stacked undercard a'la Khan v Barrera and the like.

    interim, fightnews says winner has to face Marquez withing 180 days but I think Marquez will drop the belt.

    The £ gets you 1.49 US$, or 1.65 AU$.... so either way it's still a lot of cash.

    blinding news with a decent undercard this could fill out a 10000 seat arena, i know kevin wants it at upton park
    whereever it will be it should be a great night and a great fight
