I voted the third one, that encapsulates my entire view of boxing. Glad to see it's got the biggest percentage this far also.

Probably the gayest thread I've seen this year. Go "hang out" of Floyd if you want dude.

I don't really care about his personality but I enjoy the trash talking when he's building up to a fight, he's marketed himself really well by being a trash talking, cocky arsehole which is why he's such a huge PPV draw.

In the ring he would go off as favourite against anyone at 147 or if he moved up to 154 as he is that good, his boxing brain is better than anyone I can remember and his ability to figure people out is as good as any, defensively he seems untouchable and his counter punching skills make great boxers look average.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy watching the big punchers go at it and liked watching Tyson growing up but I don't think you truly appreciate the sport unless you enjoy watching Mayweather put on an artistic display of how to hit and not be hit.

My choice is not up there -

"Technically superior fighter that has an inferior resume."

Inferior only in a sense that he is clearly the most technically gifted (except in the power department) fighter of his generation yet his resume is far from the best of his generation. You can argue at least 2-3 other fighters with as good or better resume than he does yet those fighters are not as talented as PBF is.

A lot of people confuses his skills with his achievements. Those are two different things. This is why he has a hard time being listed in the top 30 of the current ATGs. Mosley and/or Pac win will do a lot more for his resume than retiring with a perfect record.

There is a disparity between his talents and his achievements.

He is a nice guy who doesn't care about pleasing American fans. He also sucks at being the villian. He should always act like a classy guy, it fits his style in the ring

I care about the relationship between his skill to his achievements. Without achievements talent and skill means nothing at all.

None of the above. I admire Mayweather's skills, and I am a fan, but his mouth and the way he constantly pats himself on the back makes me cringe at times. I'd hang out with him, but I can't stand cocky people, so after awhile, and after a few drinks - I'd probably tell him to STFU. I do, however think Mayweather is the most talented fighter on the planet as far as pure boxing skills go, but that isn't to say he can't be beat. I think Pacquiao could beat him.
