Thats right. Paul Briggs has been steady into training & gearing up for the alleged comeback. We all read about it, hear it etc... but its coming. Details for Paul's first fight back are being finalised, wont be a huge opponent (of course)... but VERY exciting nonetheless. Paul's following is huge all over Australia, both in and outside of the boxing world. He is now mid 30's, so he wont take over the word, but its going to be great seeing one of Australia's truly talented fighters back in the ring.
Really hope he's 100% over his health issues and able to give it 100% again when he steps into the ring. An Aussie great who may just have a couple of big performances still in the tank - let's hope so any way.
I was just thinking how it could roll out....Briggs would KO some good local fighters...call out Green at the end of each fight...when Green says no...Briggs will call out Mundine...Green will take the fight next day If I rub my Crystal ball a bit harder (**** I'm leaving myself open here) I even see a Green v Briggs and Mundine V Wood doubleheader early next year with the winners to fight :hey Anyway I should leave the crystal ball in the cupboard...the thing don't work anyway atsch
yep. theres no way. regardless, this thread isnt about them two. dont really give two ****s about them.
Yeah I know but its whats gotta happen mate or it could go under the radar so to speak No point Briggs saying I'm coming back to fight a few local guys Even Lovemore came out again the other day talking up his fight with someone who wont be named at 160 atsch Do you train where Briggs does?
yeah hopefully it gets some right publicity (doesnt happen in oz boxing though).. **** im sick of being critical, its so hard not to be. nah, my trainer wouldnt train briggs :rasta
I hope he fights a couple more times. I am reading his book at the moment close to being finished. I found it very interesting cos when i was living in Brisbane my life was made up of Raves down in the Valley aswell. Very interesting book for me.
