Schaefer predicted 1 mill buys for Mayweathe/Marquez and everyone thought he was crazy. I highly doubt the fight does 3 mill. However, Schaefer does this for a living. It's not like he's pulling these numbers out of his ass.

Richard is extremely good at his job, and he's proved that over the last 5-6 years. 3 million is a tall order, but at least he's trying to help Boxing excel. Goodluck to him, as fans of the sport we should all be wanting him to succeed.

Actually, the Pacquiao/Mayweather fiasco had broad media coverage... It made National News for like 2 months straight. That whole charade will have a huge effect on both PPVs coming up and I wouldn't be suprised one bit to see Mayweather/Mosley break 3 mil. And I bet Pacquiao/Clottey gets 1.5.

There's no way Pac/Clottey beats Mayweather/Mosley without the benefit of a "24/7" reality series lol.

On paper, great fight! 2010, WAY past due. Da name MOSLEY iz still very marketable. Especially when Mosley stopped a weight drained, over trained nd Cotto-beaten Antonio Margarito. PBF called out a Light Weight to challenge him at Welterweight where Floyd Jr. exceeded the WW limit, ...on paper, WOW!

I'm more intrigued about the Demolisher, Pacquaio vs the Beast in Clottey. I think Clottey has a better chance 2 beat Mosley than PBF. I also think Joshua could beat Mayweather. They never fought, so its assumptons AND anything can happen n dat square ring! I'm still shocked y Freddy nd PAC's handlers chose the Ghana native. The southpaw Zab Judah, with his raw speed nd explosive power couldn't deter Joshua from kickn his ass.

As mentioned both American, P4P Top 10 fighters, Mayweather sells PPV's for fun, plus they have already done alot of promotion for the fight. Floyd was everywhere SuperBowl weekend, and the NBA All Star (think it was?) weekend, plus numerous press conferences that they will use to sell the fight by starting pushing matches like they did today and Mayweather insulting Mosley over steroids/money/Jin!!
