Floyd-Shane and the obvious "personal trash-talk" double-standard.

    Let me first say this...

I am not a *****, JoyBoy, or whatever the **** you haters call Floyd fans. I am not a fan of Mosely either. Nor Pac. My boy will come back to 147 and whip all three of these motha****as, but that's a different discussion...

I am just tired of the double standard that a lot of fans seem to have regarding personal trash talk. A lot of people were amused by Shane when came out and talked about Floyd and his tax problems. Some of these same hypocrites are talking about how Shane has too much class to talk **** to Floyd, and he does his talking in the ring.

Also, some of the same people were so highly amused when some noob-dude posted some corney-ass video trying to clown Floyd, yet these same people all of a sudden want to start talking about morality and ****.

Enough. These two guys are selling a fight, and they are both talking mad ****. It just so happens that one is a lot better at getting under the skin of the other. You guys who hate Floyd will find everything people say about him funny. And then when he responds, you will find him brash, ignorant, and disrespectful. Grow some nuts you buncha hoes.:good

Not a hater but, when you openly claim you are the greatest fighter ever and discredit the likes of Ali, Robinson, etc... just because they have loses you better be able to back it up otherwise it's going to stir things up. How has Mayweather backed up this claim? Who has he really fought that will catapult him into the leader-board of the ATG? At the end of the day he hasn't delivered what he claimed. You could ignore that he is brash, ignorant, disrespectful, etc... but, history will soon forget him.

Man anyone seeing me post knows who I side with, but come on man. FMJ is getting a lot more raw with the trash talk than SSM ever has. Trash talking has never really been SSM's game and probably, for better or worse, why he could never sell fights.

Mosley's talk has been all along the lines of "you are scared to fight me" and "let's do it for the fans". IMHO, all on the up and up. I don't remember him ever initiating a personal attack. Especially not one involving family, lovers, and children. All his other "shots" have just been responses.

I enjoy the trash talk from FMJ, but even I can admit it is below the belt and a bit dirty. I am still a fan, but being a fan doesn't mean being blind or giving guys passes. You have to understand where folks get this anger toward FMJ.

I don't think Mosley was talking **** when he said that, though. It's just the truth. How can Mayweather say Pacquiao isn't getting paid enough, $75k, when Mayweather has no sponsership? Aside from that, it's nothing to do with Floyd, which was Mosley's point. It wasn't trask talking.

I dont mind trash talking, its just that fraud's out of the ring persona doesnt match what he does in the ring.

I mean the guy talks a lot of trash about how hes going to stop this and that and when the fight comes he disappoints everybody with his usual safety first aproach.

This is exactly it. Its like this. Shane comes across as a nice guy. Floyd comes across as a jackass/*****/******* etc with a huge ego. Whether this is his real personality or he's just playing the bad guy, this is how he appears.

Now when you've got a guy like that who's claiming he's the best, how he's got money, makes it rain etc, people are gonna dislike him. If he talks trash, it's seen as being immature.

Now with Shane, people will say he's too classy to talk trash. However, when he does talk trash, people can forgive him very easily because he's a nice guy, and it's not even seen as trash talking but more like standing up to the loudmouth and giving him a taste of his own medicine, and to be honest, this is what it is.

How many times has Floyd brought up steroids when talking about Mosley? or Jin? or how Mosley isn't a name etc?

Now Mosley makes a comment on the whole IRS thing. Maybe he should've stayed silent and not said anything but he's a boxer, not Jesus Christ!

You cannot compare Floyd's trash talking with Mosleys. They will be looked at differently because One is seen as a good guy, the other a bad guy. Money May chose to play the bad guy because as he said, he gets more money by being a bad guy. If you play the villain, you'll be less popular. It comes with the territory. What do you expect? More money, but less fans. Not everyone can have both like a DLH or Pac. He made his bed, he's gotta lie in it.

Although I dislike PBF, I'm no blind hater, I acknowledge his skills and achievements but I'm just telling it like it is. Shane does not have to be perfect to be classier then PBF.

floyd would probly take it easy on mosley if he didnt pull that **** after the marquez fight. mosley goes on espn and says floyd is scared is was forced to take the fight. don't throw stones if you live in the glass house. floyd let him have it.

if mosley had some charisma and embarrassed floyd today, the same posters that are whining about floyd being disrespectful would be on here bashing floyd for shitting his pants.

    man the **** up

Excellent post! These PBF haters are a special breed. They did think Shane taking about PBF's IRS problems was funny but the minute PBF talks about Jin being Shane's pimp they have a problem.

Etiquette and respect are not apart of trash talking. If Mosley started off with disrespect, you can't tell Floyd how hard he can react. We know Mayweather's game and so does Mosley. Jumping in the ring and disrespecting Mayweather is asking him or anyone else to come back at you. If someone pushes you and you beat the crap out of them you can't say there's a limit to the beat down you can give them. You're dead to rights once you start something.

I don't mind a little trash talk.....Floyd getting personal is his thing, for Shane to do just doesn't feel right. It's not really in his DNA. I can understand why Shane responded and got personal b/c there are lines that you don't cross which Floyd seems to be blind to. Me personally don't give a damn b/c he's not talking about my fam, but I can understand where Shane is coming from and I don't think it's a double standard. I don't agree with Floyd all the time, but he's good for the sport and he has a role that he fills. Look at Mayorga...all his antics were low, but he didn't get a lot of **** slung his way for being abbrasive.

Not to mention these fools were all Shane's cheerleaders when he interrupted Floyd's post-fight interview.

Has everyone forgotten how disrespectful that **** was? Shane's hypocritical ass deserves everything he gets in the trash talk.

By the way, it's only talk.

    There is a double standard

Im ok with floyd talking ****, he always does that, hes always been doing that, thats just who he is. Thats floyd being floyd

Mosley however, is coming off as fake. Hes always been this nice guy, and all of a sudden he is talking **** Who is he trying to fool :-(
