They got really pissed off at one another at the end of Barrera/Hamed due to George calling him out on some extreme remarks.

I really thought Big George was funny and knew what he was talking about sometimes. Lampley is a big cheerleader. I lost track of how many times he screeched during a fight when it actually wasn't necessary.

I agree big time. I loved Foreman as a fighter, but he was a bad announcer. He would get on these kicks and only talk about 1 thing. Like in the Trinidad-Bhop fight, he kept saying Trinidad was going to knock him out because "he was on the balls of his feet" over and over again.

Foreman is a closet mad ego-maniac.

Who the **** would call his 6 sons with his very own name??

Since Kinshasa he's looking for popularity and admiration. He's looking for some kind of redemption and figured out that the only way to achieve it is to ppear good and Godly. He's whispering curses through those teeth clenched in wide smile. I easily imagine his deathly stare on Lampley just to see him mega polite seconds after, on air. Don't be fooled LOL

WHAT!!??!? Foreman was ready to give Trinidad a BJ for a lot of his fights. Hell he was getting dominated and completely outclassed to the point where anyone with eyes could see he wasn't going to do anything and foreman was making it seem like it was a close fight, saying how trinidad hurt him while Hops leads big uppercut that makes trinidad wobble-hop. He was about to give Mosley a bj in the first fight with Forrest, until Forrest took his heart.

  9. I'm actually suprised to see all this hatred toward Big George. I'd much rather listen to Foreman than Lewis, RJJ, or Steward.

But I totally agree with the poster that said he wanted the option to just turn the commentary off while still being able to hear the crowd and the punches landed and the cornermen yelling instructions. Commentary is for boxing noobs, anyone that actually knows about boxing doesn't need Jim Lampley telling us what we already know.

I got a couple friends that will tell you that I tend to say the exact same thing Jim Lampley says about 2 seconds before he does... Its cause I don't need the damn commentary.

Foreman, first off, was always saying **** that made absolutely no sense at all. Secondly, whenever Lamps or anyone else pointed out the wrong in his statement, George was quick to go to physical intimidation, which is absolute childish bull**** from a grown man, especially one of his size and accomplishments and working in the position he was placed in.

That's why I always thought his 'rehabilitation' was just so much bull****. George has always been a thug, basically, and he always will be. No responsible man trying to do a job wants to deal with that kind of bull****, including Lamps, and he shouldn't have to.

    Foreman was a **** commentator.

RJJ, Steward, and Lewis were all much better. Especially RJJ
