I was just watching a couple of the press conference videos and I've never seen Mosley look this bad before. His face looks drained, he looks small. Honestly, mentally, he doesn't seem to be as sharp as he was and his speech is starting to sound a little bit slurred. I really hope he does beat Mayweather but this video has taken away some of the belief I had in him. I think he's been on the decline for years and this is the effect of that.
ok. well i can't see how shane is suddenly weight drained when he's not long ago done well against the supposed elite at 147. he had a close fight against a prime cotto, he done well against margarito, and he wasn't too weight drained for them. personally, i saw this coming. a lot of people were talking **** about floyd not wanting to fight the elite, and mosley's name came up a lot of times from posters about floyd being too scared to fight him, and now floyd has accepted the challenge, those same fans are like, oh, well shane is getting old, and shane looks weight drained.. etc etc. how can an opinion on a boxer change that quick? i'll tell you why, it's because of denial. you got floyd who a lot of people talked **** about, now eventually stepping up to the plate, and some just don't like that, so now comes the excuses. it's ok, but i personally find it sad to the point that it's got quite pathetic.
Mosley sounded terrible at the presser in terms of not knowing what he was going to say. He should've hired a speech writer because it was painful to listen to.
He shouldn't try to trash talk. It's not his style and Floyd is much better than him at it. He should have tried to be the more mature person, but he did seem to be distarcted and affected by what Floyd was saying.
that's what happens when a person mentally gets in your head. mosley just couldn't think enough to register certain questions to answer, because all he's thinking is floyd mayweather. floyd is probably going home thinking " phase one completed".
Shane should just ignore it, not let it get to him which it seems to be doing at the moment. If you don't give a **** what Floyd says it can't affect you.
he has always looked that way. in fight terms. he looked very bad agaisnt Mayorga. I had him looseing going into the last round.
Floyd seems to have a way to get into most of his opponents head though, even if you think he talks a lot of ****. It comes to the point where you wanna just get the ring and throw bombs at the guy, which is playing right into his hands. I have a feeling we're going to see the same Shane that fought Margarito, and that will lead to big problems for Shane and easy work for Mayweather.
Well, I was specifically referring to when Shane was at the microphone by himself at the press conference. He sounded like a babbling idiot.
He couldn 't even speak out one correct sentence, but I still won't write him off 'cause like usual he does his talking in the ring:good
It did all look a bit staged...it was as if Mosley was told to do this, and say that, but he couldn't get the words out.
