Totally, take Margorito out of his recent record and you have to wonder why the hell anyone would imagine he'll beat mayweather

He's not always been like this and it wasn't just him being nervous either. When has his speech ever been slurred? He's not like Riddick Bowe but this is the first time his speech has ever been bad.

And since when did Mayweather become this genius in pre-fight "mental warfare"?:huh

Because I am seeing a couple of posters here claiming Mayweather has already gotten into Mosley's head just because Mosley was not articulate in what he was saying.:patsch

mayweather is known for getting under opponents skin, especially as of late. mosley was getting angry, it doesn't mean floyd is going to win the fight, but it does mean that floyd has got to him to make him angry. mosley's speech to me showed his concentration was on elsewhere, whilst floyd seemed mentally ok.

By whom and since when? Against Hatton? Against Marquez? Against Oscar?

I know he is composed and smart inside the ring, but getting under his opponents' skin? That is a brand new news to me TBH.

Jeez. Give the guy a break. Maybe he didn't get any sleep the night before conference day? Maybe he had a few drinks which would explain the slurred speech. You can't really base a fighter's performance on how he looks on one particular day. If it makes you feel any better he did appear stronger than Floyd when they were pushing each other on stage, as fake or real as it may be.

ive noticed all of this as well. The speech sounds worse and he's looking much older all of a sudden. In time he'll start really slurring his words unfortunately. He's showing early signs where his speech is progressively becoming less coherent/struggling more to get words out. And before people jump on that statement, remember how many punches he's taken in over 50 fights - just counting the pro ones. There's guys who've taken less that him thatve ended up not sounding pretty. Boxing's ****ing brutal...

well if you haven't noticed it then you really haven't got a ****ing clue about mentality. hatton was doing the the throat sign towards mayweather on the night of the weigh-in, and admitted he lost his composure before the fight. oscar was getting very pissed off during the build-up, even walked away when floyd trashed talked him during oscar's own interview. during the fight, oscar eventually forgot his jab and went for the big punches, so you could say he lost his patience with the actual gameplan, and admitted that.did floyd trashtalk marquez that much? i know the urine thing was quite funny.

The only idiot I saw was Mayweather babbling on (again) about performance enhancing drugs, which instantly lowered the tone. Floyd has no class whatsoever.

Mosley IS getting old. Nobody can deny that. He is almost 40 years old. Of course he isn't anywhere near his prime. These are not "excuses", as Floyd's minions claim, they are facts.

If there is a God and any justice in this world, Floyd loses this fight.

Uh oh. Here come the excuses. This is exactly what Mayweather was talking about when he said that no matter what he won't get credit. It was only 5 or 6 months ago when after the the Marquez fight everyone swore up and down that Mosley was a beast who would kill Mayweather, and that Mayweather was scared and would never fight Mosley.

Now that Mayweather has made a liar out of those people suddenly, they're talking about Mosley looks terrible. LOL.

39 is old for a welterweight. I just hope mayweather gets his due when he has an easy night against shane. A lot of guys are still picking shane.

Exactly... there are people saying floyd would never fight shane or that shane was a harder fight than Pac for floyd, which I disagree because pac is hitting his prime and has more energy, stamina, speed and will have a higher work rate.

But now that the fight is actually made, the excuses are coming and there are still peopel who wont give him credit.
