Winning purse bid was pretty low, surprised Hatton promotions didn't bid higher.

I think the fact that Rob can often be in messy fights, also he shuns the media and is a bit of a law unto himself (before the Norton re-match he didn't bother turning up for any press and even his trainer has said he's a bit intense at times) has come to harm him, hence why he's got to go all the way over to Australia for what isn't the biggest purse tbh.

    can see nortan just vacating.

aparently Sky have told promoters that certain fighters are not worthy of friday fight night main event slots.

Nortan is on that list, along with Lee McAllister and Chris Edwards.

Anrthony Small will also need to impress in his next fight.

Hopefully Haskins and Broadhurst are top of the list, in capitals, underlined and highlighted.

after his last defence he probably realises he's in for a loss and fancies doing it away from the cameras in hotter climates.

All this talk of Sky dictating fights is bad, just because you've had a bad fight doesn't make you a bad fighter. Broadhurst vs Haskins was a bad mix of styles.. they are not bad fighters.

Definitly. Though, that said, I saw Small vs Webb at Crystal Palace in the South-East London ABAs. It was a war so maybe their styles bring out the best in each other.

Fingers crossed because he's been **** recently.

Broadhurst isn't bad to watch, just against Haskins it was a bad mix of styles.

I'm all for Sky putting a bit of pressure making sure we get good fights, but some of the fighters who have been mentioned are good fighters theyre just awkward, I'd rather watch better fighters in technical fights than prizefighter style brawls

norton looked **** last time out. All the trdemark behaviours of someone who thinks they are better than they actually are.

Haskins and broadhurst AREN'T bad fighters, and their styles did clash, but broadhurst needs a bit more building up before he steps up, as he didn't really beat anyone of note to win commonwealth.
