PAC's stamina has always been incredible....ever since the days in the Phillipines. PED's was just a good excuse for FLoyd to find a way out of the fight with Manny without having to say ..."I don't want to fight MannY".

Pacquiao can't even easily handle Abdullai Amidu and you believe Joshua will be easy for him? Joshua is twice as good defensively and in ring IQ than Abdullai.

Clottey has never been worn down by any fighter and he's fought all types. Pac won't be the first to throw a thousand punches and land very few. Pac won't be the first to try to go Clottey's body to 'bring his hands down'.

We'll just have to wait to see whether Clottey's defense is as good as some of us think. Whether Pac can fight tactically and technically. Whether Pac can stay disciplined when his offense is not getting through Clottey's defense and he's eating hard shots for exposing himself. Whether Pac can fight effectively under pressure and on the backfoot.

All will be answered on the March 13. Till then we can all fantasize about Pac's handspeed and footwork and Clottey's guard and right hand. The ring will answer, not the forums.

Pacquiao is all about commitment to punch in my personal opinion. Doesn't matter if he's a lil bit slower or a lil bit heavier ( punching), the guy goes for it relentlessly... A guy like Clottey is all about strength, fought with some 170lbs against Corrales at fightnight, takes big punches from guys like Cotto and Margarito and stands his ground to punch back with accuracy and pretty hard ( specially swinging double, triple left hooks in close and out of his defensive shell). What happens to Clottey with a guy like Pac? He's always on the receiving side until and if Manny punches himself out momentarily and takes a break. I expect Pacquiao to find his way home thru this guy's gloves so he's not gonna be Mr. Hardest luck in the welterweight division no more.

He didn't bring him down but he beat Manny in a tough fight. But you'd agree that the Manny who lost to EM is not the Manny we see today. Speed has diminished a bit b/c of the added muscle but he's far more dynamic and complete today.

The first video is all for show. No way anyone would punch like that in a real fight.

Pac seems to have improved. But the QUALITY of opposition HAS NOT. It's easy to look real good against flawed fighters.

When you rank Cotto, Diaz and Hatton against Morales, and Marquez, you'll get a huge gap in the rankings.

Every fighter has flaws.....Cotto, Hatton, DLH were all very good competition...they were the same exact comp that Floyd faced and Manny actually did better.....minus Cotto of course and Cotto was a very good and difficult test.

But I do agree Manny level of opposition in terms of "SKILLS" dropped since moving up in weight but the level of difficulty increased due to being at a size, power and strenght disadvantage. At least JMM, EM and MAB were his size.

I think Clottey is a very good fighter BUT at the end of his fights he tends not to throw his hands. He was beating Cotto but he let him back into the fight. If he only postures against Pac he will be a sitting duck and will be target practice. I think he tends to trail off at the end of fights because he has hit the wall.

JMM, EM, and MAB were smaller than Pac.

Wasn't Pac coming in at 140+ while he was fighting at 126?

It is not for show, it is for conditioning his fast twitching muscles. You right about no one would punch like that in a real fight, as they shouldn't. Not everything you do in training transfer directly into the ring, but it prep you for what you are planning to do there instead.
