Another STUPID post. But this one I will explain. I think PBF can beat Margarito but it isn't for sure. Speed and footwork don't always matter!

If you had actually spent anytime in the ring or even up close to it you would know this.

Margarito breaks guys down based on volume punching and durability. Shane defeated him not because he was faster, but because he could break him down.

Now PBF might not have to do that. He might be able to offset the volume with footwork.

BUT IT IS NOT GUARANTEED!

It's IDIOTS like you that have been giving him a pass. You won't know until they fight.

Did Basilio have great skills? No so how did he get that win? If you had been alive you would have told everyone that THERE WAS NO NEED FOR THEM TO FIGHT!

What Barrera did to Morales was *****. We as fighters know the fight is difficult in itself, but most fighters show sportsmanship. To this day MAB can't understand why EM doesn't like him or respect him. It's one thing to say he grew up privileged, but another to hit your opponent with a 1-2 and laugh. Whether MAB cares or not, he showed he cared when he asked to shake hands with EM, and EM spit water in his hand. If they haven't already, maybe they can look back and respect each other. I rooted for MAB to beat EM, and when MAB did what he did, I kind of lost respect for him.

 

Floyd would've kicked AM's ass. Fuk AM, he really can't fight without plaster in his gloves. Basilio was great, and he did have skills-whether you call them great or not, he had skills. Like I said in an earlier post. When this fight breaks the numbers for DLH-PBF.....where goes the logic by both PBF and SOME of his fans that said, "Mosley can't sell PPV?"

People are looking into this way too much. Floyd was the first to make contact and Mosley was having none of his **** talking. Mosley was sweating?? And??? Perhaps Floyd has pissed Mosley off?? It wouldn't suprise me as Mayweather comes across as a spoilt kid half of the time. Mosley is probably using all of the trash talk to train harder and hopefully Mayweather is talking his way into a huge left hook.

These are just the early prelim exchanges. Look at how Rahman owned Lewis in the build up to the rematch, and we all remember just how hard Lewis made him pay. Rahman got into Lewis' head better than Floyd has with Mosley or any other of his opponents for that matter. As a Lewis fan it was difficult to watch just how badly Rahman wound Lewis up. He really did a good job, whereas Floyd comes across a bit ****y.

 

Illesy I would argue PBF has NEVER gotten into the head of any of his opponents......this is stuff that PBF fan boys spew.

First off, I look at boxing much more differently than you. You look at it from a fans point of view. Floyd didn't start at 147. Floyd made his bones long before he got to 147 so he didn't have to go through that division. He did that at 130. It's not his fault 2 of the champs didn't fight him, so he fought the champ who wanted to fight in chico(R.I.P).

Floyd is taking the fights that only matter to the fans now at ww. Margarito was a stooge for Arum to try to belittle Floyd since he left him. AM might have had a chance had he defeated Shane. Nobody wanted to see Floyd fight AM except AM's same old sorry ass fans who belittle Floyd for how he grew up, or how they loved Margarito and his cheating ass.
