i have been watching a bit of napoles lately and i love the way he seems so relaxed in the ring slipping punches and moving in his own unhurried way to make his opponents miss and his explosive attacks when he has created the openings to score with combo's. not forgetting his accurate jab

 

Excellent, he's deserved a highlight for some time now. Some footage of the Griffith fight in there I saw. I'd like to see that one in its entirety.

For some reason the video can't be shown in Germany because of the music. :huh

I made it up rather quickly but I'm glad people liked it.

 

Youtube Germany doesn't want to pay the fees Sony Music wans for their property to be shown on youtube. Thus every vid which contains property of Sony Music can't be seen in Germany.

Napoles....a great welter....they should have never thrown him in with Monzon.

Could have been champ Lightweight thru Jr. MW.

Napoles vs SRL at welter is a toss-up IMO.

 

Napoles vs. SRL would've been great, I think Mantequilla would've edged it, though.

 

The way Napoles could match offense and defense at the same time, beautiful. Very few can do that and there will only be one Mantequilla.

 

I agree Napoles had a bit more than Leonard, and either way it would have been one of the greatest welterweight fights.

 

I don't think Napoles had the size or speed at Welterweight to beat Leonard. I hate to say it, but this is one of those fights where a cuts stoppage in Leonard's favor seems likely at some point.
