He needs to retire. The last big fight he had was really against Peter in my eyes but he lost. If he wants to be paid in big numbers UFC is not an option just retire.

Ya know, this actually makes plenty of sense. UFC is full of lazy bums that roll around the mat and call it training, PERFECT for James Toney, he'll fit right in.

Get ready to see him promptly matched vs a submission fighter with absolutely zero intentions of keeping it a stand-up fight lol

I wish James well and think he'll do a lot better than a lot of MMA fans will like to think. He'll get some good wins based purely on being heads and shoulders above ANYONE in MMA with his hands. But James will also loose some bouts I think b/c he won't be comfortable on the ground. For those who think they will try to stand with James will be in for a very BIG surprise which they won't be able to appreciate until they awake.

Unless they arrange a tournament between Toney and Slice, James is about to get his ass beat down.

That would be about the dumbdest damn thing any of those non-punching MMA palookas could do.

Stand up and trade with James? No ****ing way.

I'd be going for single and double leg takedowns from the opening bell...

    wtf?!

Toney is 5'9/72" reach, has no footwork even in boxing, and won't have any chance of even outstriking a competent heaveyweight. And I don't mean Cro Cop or Overroid.. just any in shape heavyweight would kick him outter the cage quickly. This sounds embarrassing.

Toney is gonna get humiliated, he must be desperate for money. I don't understand why he never got his fat ass in shape and made some money at cruiser and fighting small heavyweights. Guy is dumb as ****ing rocks.

You don't honestly believe UFC fighters are lazy bums do you. Most train at the same level all year round. On a permanent training camp.
