I don't know how good of a chance it would be, Marciano was a great puncher, very tough, had tons of heart. Although Roy Jones in my eyes has a chance against anyone that gives up a 7 inch reach advantage to him. I would still say Marciano may knock Roy out late, but Roy would look great in the fight for a while.
Pre-Tarver, I don't remember anyone getting Roy in trouble late in a fight. Marciano's best chance is to land the lucky punch - which I believe isn't very probable.
I am not so sure Roy would have beat Darious Michaleski, if they fought prime to prime because of the pressure DM would have put on him. Marciano would slaughter his arms, Shoulders, stomach and chin.....Sorry Roy gets hit in this one and lays flatter than Johnson and Tarver put him....Roy gets flattened
Marciano kills just about anyone under 200 pounds. RJJ, Jr. spent the best part of his career ducking and stalling against the best potential opposition. He would avoid a Marciano match-up like the plague and if ever found himself in the ring against the Blockbuster would succumb within 8.
There's nothing to elaborate. You're a joke. You actually think Jones has a 50/50 shot against Frazier. The man who beat the GOAT at Heavyweight? Jones would get slaughtered by Frazier.
If you notice, I said it was 50/50. I think Jones poses several problems for smaller heavyweights. How does Frazier deal with Jones' speed? At his absolute best, Jones is in Ali's league on a P4P basis - easily. And no way is the three year layoff Ali as fast as Jones was in his prime.
