Super, Regular and Unleaded...

    With the annoucement that Celestino Caballero is to face Daud Yordan for the WBA 'Interim' Featherweight title on April 10th, this leaves the WBA choc full of credability once again having a Super (John), Regular (Gamboa) and Unleaded, oop's I meant Interim in either Caballero or Yordan!!

    Is it just me or this a farce!!! :patsch

    Has the WBA given the champ "super champ" status for title defences in any other divisions?

    Australia has an average 2.3 kids per family. The WBA has that in 'champions'!

    I don't know off the top of my head Ash, but I certainly know that's what Chris was awarded his for and if memory serves me correctly, his 'ceremony' to honour the acheivement was given at the WBA Annual Conference.

    Leon, am I right on that one? I seem to recall reading that somewhere?

    LmFAO... And the WBA are still trying to adopt.. We need a Deisel Title to **** the minatures off.

    This is one of the biggest farces in boxing atm.

    Reason why I ask is I read on the WBA website that a champ can be elevated after 5 defences.....I know a WBA champ that has more than 5 defences :hey

    Pretty hard to top the gold - "I want to be known as the Pioneer", professing to the world that he'll make 154lbs and oop's, then not!
