I think I was watching old re-runs of Neighbours when that bout took place. I made my choice and I stand by it.

I must admit he doesn't half crack me up- in a ****ish sought of way.

 

Old master Betty is just building suspense.

You know when you've put the years in on ESB.....you can remember when Betty used to post about boxing as well as Hatton!!

 

Well my cousins kid is seriously disabled due to a hospital **** up during his birth. He spends about 6 months a year in hospital, can't talk, walk, feed himself etc. But he watches things and responds to people etc. Hatton came to his ward unannounced to visit all the kids and without any press. Had pics with the kids, signed things for them etc. My cousin took a pic and had it blown up for her little boys room.

And despite being this super flash **** who only loves money, the lad still lives in Hyde and goes on holiday with the same mates he knocked about with 10 years ago.

I'm bored of his cheeky chappy act and I'm sure he's changed to some extent, but the relentless hatred by some people is pathetic. Yes he has done stuff for charity, yes he still lives in the same fairly crap area and yes he obviously likes making money. Who cares?

 

I wouldn't give a **** if he bought Buckingham Palace if he said he was happy and wanted to enjoy his hard earned rewards but what winds me up is that he plays it all down to try and increase his following claiming that he does what he does for the fans whilst secretly fleecing them for all he can get.

No shame in it if your honest about it but Ricky plays the game too much for me personally.

 

Well I have never heard of him charging for autographs but if he does then he's a ****.
I would change my opinion on him totally.

Aye he charges £20 a pic, well he did when he came to scotland. Me and my mate went along to the doo, then stood in line for a pic, and some **** came along and said it was £20 a photo, we laughed and told him to stick it up his arse. My mate even shouted to Hatton he should be ashamed of himself for charging, Ricky just put his head down as if he never heard him. Lost respect for the **** after that, lets face it if your paying £100 to be there you would expect a ****in free photo:bart:bart

 

He doesn't take the money though does he? He will agree to get his pictures taken, then it is at the discretion of the organisers of the event to charge people.

At the Bunce Live shows it was the same, it cost you to get your picture taken with Buncey so why doesn't he get **** for it like Hatton does?

 

Don't know all of the details tbh, which is why I'm always open to having my opinion changed, but read people grumble about it on more than one occassion on here. Like Kos just posted, it might not be as straight forward as that either.

Anyway, just my feelings on the fella. Still got respect for what he does/did in the ring and don't expect everyone else to be of the same view.
