Is DLH implying a Sugary victory in this quote?

"I fought both fighters and I know what is going to happen. Do you want to know what I think? I know there is going to be a knock-out and it ain't going to be pretty!"

Now I'm not sure he's implying that "it ain't going to be pretty" is a direct reference to Mayweather (PRETTY Boy Floyd), and I didn't hear the tone of his voice to evaluate how deliberate this quote was, but it was a thought that popped into my head after reading it. "I know what is going to happen" is kind of provocative, and I was just wondering if anyone else thought the same thing or sees a chance that Oscar might be favoring Shane and being sly in expressing it.

De La Hoya... good fighter, but notoriously bad with fight predictions.

But I don't see how that is saying either guy will win. The quote is very ambiguous and you can't tell who he's talking about.

I think Oscar is clearly implying that Shane will do to Floyd, what Shane did to Margarito and Mayorga.

When was the last time Floyd beat the crap out of someone, let alone someone of Mosley's calibre.

Now that doesn't mean Oscar will be right, but that is clearly what he is inferring.

How often does DLH pick against Floyd? Nearly every single fight and he's always wrong so I don't really take too much from his predictions

Maybe because Floyd is a slight favourite to take this fight, Oscar is just backing the underdog too increase interest and make it seem an even closer battle. He's a promoter he builds fights so his word can't be taken too seriously.

oscar always picks the underdog, he doesn't believe what he says all the time. But he is a promotor who has to promote this fight the best possible way he can.

Do any of you realize Oscar is a promoter? Any of you? Can't predict fights well? He's not trying to predict fights! He's trying to stir up interest in fights he's promoting! Jesus!
