Last night at JKL he was fantastic,he got carisma and knows how to interact with audience. On top of that a warrior in the ring/ how come you cant like him?
I wonder the same. But on top of my mind, here's some: - it undermines their idol (i.e. Mayweather, Mosley, JMM, etc.) - overrated wins Minor ones: - Pac's rumored gambling and his recent fidelity issue.
Most of the reasons I've heard through the years are because of his "annoying" fans and because of the controversial wins against JMM. People saying he picks only old fighters. And now, the PEDs allegations. I think for some people it will simply be impossible for them to ever like him. Anyways, people are free to choose who they will like.
Its mostly Jealous fraud nutthuggers and some fans of fighters he beat but who cares about what those morons think.
I am a bigger fan of Floyd, but take an unbiased view on all other fighters. It was hard to deny how great Pac was for the sport of boxing...... Until the drugs testing fiasco. I just want clear proof. Its innocent until proven guilty but i just felt if i was in his shoes and there was a cloud over my name i would instantly accept the drugs test to clear my name. Just my thoughts on the subject.
I dont think people dislike like pac as a person, because he seems to be a genuine nice guy. I think people dont like his die hard fans, who can go over the top in many forums i have been to. Also it doesn't help matters when a recent poll had him as the 2nd best boxer of all time behind robinson.
I like Pacman and PBF about the same, but whatever happened that stopped them fighting stinks- and until we know the exact reasons (or the fight happens) I'll be put off both of them a little bit
I used to be a fan myself. Soured on him recently. He and his team did Cotto dirty. I could also say Cotto should have given him the middle finger but let his pride get in the way, but Pacs team still did him dirty. And now the ten different excuses for not taking the tests. Im not into accusing him of anything, and I do believe his success is due to training. But I also know for a fact that a blood test does not interfere with training, it doesnt take 3 days to recover from one, and it never hindered a performance in ANY sport. So thats an issue I cant stick up for him on.
How can you expect everyone to like him? That's the better question. Not everyone likes pizza. Not everyone likes ice cream. Not everyone likes Pacquiao. Get the picture? Don't get it wrong though. Because I don't like him does not mean I hate the guy. A lot of people assume this and it's ridiculous. Some people, even nice ones can rub you the wrong way. You can't force people to like you. It's just life. Based on my brief rant some people in this forum may end up disliking me. And I'm completely fine with that.
