Haye is just as adept at talking himself out of contracts as well.

to the peopaying that they will put him in against a submission fighter, i very much doubt this, dana will try bleed as much money out of him as possible... they will probably put him in against someone who will stand and trade with him for the first few fights

first and formost, danas a business man, hes not gonna see an 'investment' loose straight away....

and as for the choice of kongo as an opponent, his ground game sucks, this is partly true... he doesnt have bad take downs, and he can/does have brutal ground and pound, if people dont beluieve me, watch the mustaph al turk fight... mustaph was a seasoned mma artist, but he was taken down & beaten very very very badly on the ground, kongo pounded on him that much he broke his jaw bone amongst other things

and as far as working on his take down defence is concerned, it will take him years to get anywhere near decent at this, against anyone like velasquez or brock, he simply wont have a chance

I hope he doesn't embarrass boxing. I hate it when old, shot fighters, who can no longer compete at the top level of boxing, go and try other combat sports. I wish him luck, but u know MMA fanboys are hoping he loses so they can use it as propoganda to claim that MMA is superior.

Not keen on the guy myself. He has acted like a complete twat so far in his career.

Wonder how Fedor would match Toney in a stand up fight?

lesnar submitted gabriel gonzaga (who is a bjj black belt) about a year ago in a BJJ match, i **** you not, i wish i still had the link to it

i think a lot of people are underestimating his bjj level, he was a blue belt or higher before his second fight with mir...

sadly, for some reason we havent seen any of the devostating kicks of crocops in a long time now, i cant understand why he doesnt go for them anymore, he used to send people to sleep every fight with them

Actually I think Fedor is a bit over-rated, his conditioning is also very poor, although not as poor as Toneys:lol: Think Toney would burst Fedor, although Fedor is good on the ground also:huh

I just hope he doesn't get owned by someone. He is well passed it now and I fear that as soon as he is taken down he will struggle.

Also I call bull**** on the Lesnar Gonzaga thing.

Only reported on one site and there has never been any evidence provided.

aw ok, well if thats the case then i retract my statement, i didnt realise it was only on one site

the thing about lesnar is though, if you have worked on your sub defence as much as he obviously has, coupled with his strength, hes a match for anyone on the ground... look at how he has man handled mir there, he doesnt have to have submissions to be good there... he just has to keep pounding people out & avoid being subbed
