he will be more appreciated once he is gone. It's the same old story over and over again. Personally I don't find him very charismatic and he has this annoying habit to kill my favorite fighters in the ring . I'm not a hater but it's my free choice not to be a ******* !
Because of people like you who force him on us. I'm a boxing fan in the truest sense, and have been for quite a while, but I don't need people to tell me that in order to be a fan of boxing I have to like Pac... Or I have to admire Cotto... Or I have to be in awe of Floyd... Or I have to respect Mosely... I really never got into Pac one way or another. I never really rooted for or against him, because he never really mattered to me. Now that he is being forced on us by legions of frantic freaks, I have been put off. Yeah he's a great fighter, but he doesn't inspire me in the least.
Can't understand that either, he is GREAT for the sport, even if you don't like him, you have to give respect for that. For example me no massive Floyd much, but i really do appreciate what he brings to the sport.
Pump the brakes. Are you reading something other than what I wrote? What am I forcing in my statement? And what are 'people like me'?
yeah but the minute you question anyhting about Pac (who happens to be human, and not perfect) these freaks come out of nowhere and attack you.
it's your question... And people like you are those who can't understand that not everyone is goin to like someone no matter how much you may cream over him. How can you not understand? We have our choice of who we want to like. And it's quite irritating for people to make statements like that.
This. :thumbsup I've been a fan and followed Pacquiao for years, a long time before he became big with the casual fan after his victory over De la Hoya. It's the die-hard fans who put me off talking about him on this forum. They would defend him in undefendable situations, he can do no wrong and they can never be wrong. It's probably the reason why so many people choose to praise and defend another boxer rather than Pacquiao, because Pacquiao doesn't need to be... He has been impressive over the past couple of years with some big victories, but it's also annoying how high some people are ranking him on the ATG, he probably makes top 15-20 on my list...there have been too many great boxers over the years.
If your crappy boxer didn't make Pac look so good in 2 rounds, we'd be singing a different tune, now wouldn't we? there's only ooooooone ricky hatton.
