Number of hours until Toney claims that Brock Lesnar has been ducking him for years?

Is James Skint ? He should be looking forward to retirement....

Although it will be intresting to see him in a MMA match...

Maybe Mercer Vs Toney in MMA....

I don't follow MMA so I have no idea what Toney will accomplish in the UFC. But since he is old, overweight, and inactive I'm glad he's out of the boxing picture. I've always liked Toney but he's getting to the point where he is going to become a gatekeeper and Toney was way too talented to get to that point.

James Toney getting rocked around the ring by BUMS is my point. He is an absolute and has been a nobody in the HW division for years.

Adamek couldnt put down a guy who has never been put down..wow he must suck...considering James never took anyone out at HW of note nor did he "put them down".

Fedor has been sparring with Alexander Povetkin and Denis Lebedev for a few years now, and he punched out Andrei Arlovski in two minutes - the same Andrei Arlovski that Freddie Roach claimed was going to leave MMA to win gold in the heavyweight division.

I remember when Fedor fought Cro-Cop, back when Cro-Cop was one of the most feared kickboxers in the world. Everyone said Fedor could win, but only if he took the fight to the ground. When the fight happened Fedor beat his ass standing for the full twenty minutes.

So I think he'd be one of the few MMA heavyweights who could compete with Toney standing without being KTFO in the first round. I wouldn't give the guys who are mainly wrestlers (like Brock Lesnar) much of a shout if they tried to box with Toney though - we'd probably be looking at another Ray Mercer moment.

Cant wait to see who his opponents are. He needs to be fed a few journey men to get his skill up to scratch. His mic talking will carry his ppv's far in UFC until he gets choked out. lol

Yeah, taking the **** mate. I doubt Gonzaga would need to take it to the floor. One of those decaptiation kicks would do the trick.

I highly doubt they'll put him in with Kongo in his first MMA fight either. Kind of getting thrown to the Wolves, that.

    What's Eddie Sanchez up to?

    Terrible move...

Not sure why everybody thinks that Toney will KO any MMA fighter, sure he has a chance, but it is not as though he has had one punch KO power in the past.

I'm thinking a savvy MMA fighter would take a shot or two then it's all over for Toney.

How does it look bad for boxing when someone who can no longer compete at the highest level is still sought out to compete in the UFC?
