As much as I'd love to see Tyson kick Holy's ass, it's not going to happen. He probably just got tired of being a Toney lookalike
ONLY IN AMERICA!! I wonder if Mike's situation has deteriorated to the point where Teddy Atlas will train him out of charity. I would hate to see what a Klitzchko would do to him at this stage in his career. With Don King in the mix he must be setting up for Tyson Valuev...yikes
His only saving grace at this point is the fact that he's been clean from drugs etc for quite a while. Maybe he feels a little rejuvinated. I hope he jsut stays retired though:deal
No Klitschko would ever fight him, they respect him too much to get that low. It's like getting an old Michael Jordan as your opponent when you're fresh in the NBA and have been watching him since you were a kid - you would never come to the idea to foul him hard like you probably would anyone else who scores too much. At least if you're not a *****. BTW: Don King "contemplates" a Tyson comeback to cash in on his name, Mike Tyson doesn't. But he looks ok and a lot lighter than he was, he could probably come in shape for a Holyfield or other hasbeen easily.
Hey, if the guy can make $5-7 million because he needs it, who are we to say no? It's his life. I'm almost certain he won't fight again though.
Fighting a 47 y/o Holyfield would be an exhibition fight, not something cruel. They could internally agree to some hard sparring session. If they can get their pension from this, without Greedy King taking all the money, why not.
I would bet what I got in the bank that a Tyson fight would have more buys than a Vitali and Wlad fight combined. Tyson doesn't have what it takes to climb the ranks again. He could make some money going against a few D class fighters.
He should secure his place in The Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, NY, then come back if he wants to. Maybe a farewell tour against 3 or 4 no hopers and collect about $20mil
Article is rubbish. For example is states Tyson has lost about 40lbs, which is nearly three stones, putting him near his fighting weight of 15st 10lbs or 220lbs! Um, HELLO, even if Tyson were to make a comeback & he was as fit as he coudl be at his age, he would not weigh near 220lbs. Tyson would weigh about 230lbs if he came back. He was around that weight for his fights against Williams & McBride! I hope it does not happen! Holyfield is fit, is an athlete. Tyson might train for three or four months to get conditioned, but his timing will not be there. If it happens, its a financial thing & it would just be a novelty, a pipe dream! Tyson is my fav fighter of all time, the reason I got into Boxing, & I will remember him for the great fighter he once was! I do not want to remember him as a guy some people beat, who would have literally **** themselves had he been at his best!
