the only guy mayweather truly ducked was margarito. thats the only thing you can blame him for. other then that, nobody can really hold anything against him. cotto never called out mayweather, and as someone already said, he was a protected fighter for some time anyway. pacquiao is as much to blame for his fight with mayweather not happening because hes afraid of giving blood to close to fight night. and now mayweather is taking on mosley another guy he was accused of ducking. most of the critisism come from mayweather's mouth. the real reason you hate mayweather is because he says things you dont want to hear.

 

Boxing is far from a gladiator sport! thats the whole point. cotto left it up to his arum and his handlers. and when did you ever hear arum actively pursue a mayweather/cotto fight. and those fights happened only after they let cotto take on the big challenges. before then, he was a protected fighter. and when he finally fought those guys you mentioned, two of them knocked him out.

 

agreed, margarito was nothing special, but by not fighting him, mayweather added more hype for a fighter who was already over-hyped.
