Fighters who look huge for their weight division

Well that settles that then.

 

Pavlik is one of the smallest looking guys in the division. Tall, but skinny.

Clottey is big, but his size is overrated. He doesn't come in anywhere near 170 on fight night which is something that gets repeated a lot for some reason.

Yuriorkis Gamboa's arms are huge for a feather.

 

AA at middle.... the rematch with Miranda was freaky - although AA was moving up and Miranda had been at SMW for some time, AA dwarfed Miranda. AA looked absolutely huge that night... remember that he couldn't make weight immediately for the fight too.

 

Urango and Bradley look like bodybuilders at 140. How they make weight and Cotto has trouble baffles me.

 

Completely agree both urango and Bradley are gigantic 140lbers. I always thought gamboa was a huge featherweight, his biceps and arms triumph over any other guy at his weight, possibly even at jr lightweight.

 

Haye always looked like a medium-sized cruiserweight to me and now looks like a large cruiserweight. Albeit a very muscular one.

 

I have no idea how Urange makes 140. He's huge.

Ricky Hatton's looking rather large for a light-welter (Forgive me lads, i'm just pissing about).

 

Miranda at 160 would have been one. Along the same lines, Dick Tiger as well.

Mike Jones is a huge welterweight.

David Haye was a huge cruiserweight.

 

Haye's definition makes him look a lot bigger than he actually is.

 

Guillermo Jones had to be an odd sight at welterweight...he's a huge cruiserweight.

 

Was it Mayorga right before the De La Hoya fight as Nady was giving instructions who, instead of touching gloves, taunted "I weight 180 lbs and I'm going to knock you out!" - or was that a different person/match? :think
