    Mosley all that damn bouncing is ridiculous ... he also doesn't pivot, he's just on his toes often times squaring up to his opponents. He looked off balance against Cotto, Mayorga, Margarito, and Collazo ... slipping and falling all over the place. He wasn't getting knocked down but he wasn't moving with grace.

    He's stiff and robotic ...

    With that being said ... he's a fighter who happens to be fast and strong with a great chin. Outside of that he's no different than Berto

    He's got 10x the power of Berto, his combinations are 100x more crisp and his ring IQ has to be at least triple whatever Berto has.

    Realistically though why would Shane try to BOX with Floyd? Floyd will eat Shane up if he tries to box. If Shane goes in there thinking he can have a glorified spar off with Floyd, he's getting cleaned out Vernon Forrest 1 style.

    I don't know what you're talking about ... Shane at 135 had more crisp combos than Berto but this fighter right now isn't close. The only thing that seperates him from Berto is the power and chin ... and i'm not sure that the difference in power is that different.

    He did say OUTSIDE of STRENTH and SPEED. So yes, Mosley does have more power than Berto.

    Not sure if his ring IQ is better. Mosley isn't a very bright fighter. Mosley usually has only one plan, and one plan only.

    Mosley has become flat footed with age and definitely lost mobility.

    I agree with you.

    That is why Mosley is the WORST fight for Manny. He would destroy him.

    I also notice that you are starting to diss Mosley more and more as the fight nears...

    And it seems he can EASILY be drawn into a rage that gets him reckless and hit.

    Brother Nazim may be a huge factor in this fight.

    What's interesting about shane's losses to both wright and forrest is that people attribute them to shane's lack of boxing skill, but don't realize that both forrest and wright have never been outboxed (well wright was barely "outboxed" by hopkins). They were defeated by opponents who were aggressive and/or extremely active.

    As a smaller fighter, outboxing disciplined fighters such as forrest and wright is a tall order.

    After 17-18 yrs as a pro and a lifetime of the same fighting style its going to be hard to change ... I also think he would give Pac fits as well and he could lure Pac into a slugging match and knock him out.

    That could end up either way. SSM has great straights and aggressively closes distance. Pac has nice hooks.

    Initially I think an exchange favors SSM. As they close in range I think the advantage tilts toward Pac.

    Somebody WOULD get KTFO though.

    sugar is a fighter, not a boxer. but he's one hell of a fighter!!! but floyd schools him after the 7th round and takes a couple early ones for the win.
