James lost my respect years ago. Last great fight was with Holyfield, and it was all downhill from there. At middle, super middle, and cruiser, he was great. At heavyweight, he was mostly a tubby joke.

At 41, he's been a loudmouth with nothing to back it up. The UFC should have let one the lesser organizations showcase that freak show **** (like Strikeforce and have him bang with that equal of a mistake in Herschel Walker), but I'm just happy I don't have to see his ass box. If I was to see Toney box, I'll go to Youtube to see that clip of Peter dumping him on his ass and laugh.

But it just gives more ammo for them UFC wankers to exclaim UFC's better than boxing when he gets knocked the **** out!

You should have more respect for these kind of athlete my friend because they do not come around often.

The end of his career will be nothing when evaluating his status 10 years from now. Yes he was drop by Peter, but only for like the fifth time of his career and we all know he beats him in their first fight.

The guy can market his self to make more money, and even built a new fanbase that will help him gets one last big boxing fight. Good for him, I am happy.

He might be submit in the UFC, lost a decision but I will never ever believe he gets knocked out. Never.

Yeah I agree with Watson. Its annoying that an aging, loud-mouth boxer wants to prove a point to the UFC and not some young heavy hitter boxer. Because if/when he loses they will say boxers are not as skilled as UFC fighters. And I hate UFC and that MMA bull****.

    Bull****.

Everyone talked about how useless and **** he was, and was even insulted because he wanted to "prove himself" by fighting Klit. So I wish him well.

He's one of those "either you love him or you hate him" kind of character. Toney's one of the most entertaining guys in boxing.

Great skill in his hayday and you still see flashes of his greatness in his fights. I hope all goes well for Lights Out in the UFC. As a fan of boxing, I don't see how anyone wouldn't want a boxer to go to UFC and tear Dana White a new one.

Hes fat and out of shape. Its just his ego talking, he can't do anything. Wish him well all you want, it won't change anything. He will still lose. I would love him to win, of course. But I just don't see it happening against a top UFC/MMA fighter.

My point is.. how can you blame him for not wanting to stay and prove himself, awhen the only reason he is leaving is because the Klits won't fight him??????

I don't understand the point to be honest. I have listened to him talk a few times. He wants ONE fight with a MMA/UFC fighter to prove a point and then he said he wants to beat the Klits again. He never said he wanted to leave. At the end of the day, I wish him luck against any UFC/MMA fighter, I do hope he wins. But I wasn't even blaming him for wanting to leave?

If your ground game is bad enough, anyone can get knocked out. If you can't fight on the ground and you get mounted you can get knocked out no matter how good your chin is.
