Oh **** off you bleeding heart, all this sympathy for punch drunk Floyd but you think his treatment of Shane is funny/genius hype.

You loudmouthed ****s are all the same - you sit on your high horse and criticise people for having the very shortcomings you have. It's called projection, you insular narrowminded sycophant ****.

The OP has valid questions and statements. **** off if your manlove for Floyd makes you leap to his defence uinstead of rationally answering them, and stop trying to hide behind psychobabble and supposition - you're too ****ing dumb to get away with it.

Floyd doesn't hold his tongue when he should. A few days before the Marquez fight he was bagging the **** out of the HBO team and called Stweard an Uncle Tom.(why the hell would he do that) When HBO interview him 1 week later he offers no explanation and he couldn't stop apoligising to Lampley and Stweard. Whats that baout.

    Try to understand me.

First of all NO it does not offend me at all.

You say Floyds trash talk "sure makes you draw alot of conclusions about FMJ"

No it does not. Im looking at the whole picture. The trash talk, the nice talk and everything in between leads me to my opinion that Floyd isnt trash talking with the intent of hyping a fight. He does it because he cannot control the words he says. His emotions take over. In the ring I love Floyd because he is emotionless. He fights his fight, sticks to the game plan and couldnt care less if the crowd boos or if HBO says its boring. I respect that because he has a game plan, sticks to it and wins. He has total control. Thats why its strnage to me how he has so much control in that aspect, but in many other ways he has absolutely no control whatsoever.

it's to get people to talk about about him, just like u lol. Mayweather got this down to a tee. Mayweather has total respect for Mosley, and u will see it after he beats him. Watch the respect his has towards all of the fighters he fought. It's all entertainment, so relax.

Hype. All hype. Notice it was done before the fight, not after it. Again, if HBO is offended, why aren't they doing anything about it? The burden is on them to make a change.

If you like the pot stirred and enjoy that type of banter thats fair enough. Different strokes. Im sure many enjoy it. I think the stuff about the alimony was a unneeded.

I really dont understand why you need to believe the fighters hate each other. No one believed Gatti and Ward hated each other but it didnt matter look at what they gave us. But once again if you need to belive any two boxers you are watching hate each other thats up to you.

You say people saying stuff like "i respct you" and "have a good fight" is weak? :patsch So to you your not strong unless its "**** you imma **** you up rah rah rah"?

A guy can show respect at a press confrence then go in and fight a war but according to you if he is showing respect then they are weak?

Gyll and alo i respect what you guys are saying but i just think you are missing the point. Both of you have stated its all hype hype dont worry about it its to get people to talk about him. Im not talking about what he actually says. I am wondering WHY he is saying it not what he is actually saying. you guys obviously believe he does it for hype and he "has it down to a tee". If thats what you think i respect that because not everyone is going to agree. I just think he does it because he cannot control himself and lets his emotions get in the way.

    I love you idiots.

I haven't implied slurs on the Australian people. I actually did the opposite. I IMPLIED that to draw conclusions about a culture that I don't know is foolish.

To imply a bunch of BS about FMJ when the OP OBVIOUSLY doesn't know crap about American smack talk, FMJ's life history, or posses the ability to put anything in context (a lot like you) is what I ripped the thread starter for.

Yeah we smell irony. Funny how the smell wafted in right after you made your dumb ass statements.

Quit throwing stones. You live in a glass house.

Well obviously he has some sort of control. Otherwise he'd be a complete mess in all of his interviews. A friend of mine met him in Vegas once and he told me Floyd was all smiles and was glad to take a picture and sign an autograph. That said, I don't have a lot of good reasons to believe he is a disrespectful person. Don't me wrong, he isn't allowed to say everything and anything he wants. But some of the worst things he has said (the ones I've heard) are neither hateful nor unethical.

Dude we agree with you! The shots about Jin, the divorce, and the kids were pretty evil. They also served their purpose. Got everyone riled up.

Gatti and Ward? What did the PPV numbers do? It isn't diminishing their fight, but SELLING the fight is what counts. That is all FMJ is doing. Look at some of FMJ's earlier post fights. He is nice and respectful. Look at his interviews... wait there are none! Nobody cares what a nice guy says.

It isn't weak. It just doesn't get people emotionally involved. Emotions sell products not quality. You think great burgers made McDonald's number one?

I shouldnt say he has no control your right. I would say he just seems to lose his control fairly easily. Maybe we look at things differently but calling another black man an Uncle Tom with no reasoning what so ever seems pretty hateful/unethical to me.

  15. can we please start the dumb ass thread of the year contest again and have this starting off as the first runner up.
