Dude you don't know. You obviously wish you did and will fake it until you make it.

Ask just about African American and to a lesser degree people of African descent. What he is doing is common and nothing special. It happens on EVERY playground and inner city sports complex. You guys have a cow because you are culturally shocked by it. Using sharp word play to berate an opponent is par for the course.

Think about it. All of the world class athletes you associate with world class trash talk? They usually come from the same cultural background.

I see what your saying about selling the fight and I dont dis agree but the other poster saying he looks at fighters showing respect as "weak" is just stupid to me. I agree also that FMJ is selling his fight by the way he acts no doubt. But my whole point is I dont believe when he makes those comments about Jin and the kids he is thinking about PPV numbers. Him contstantly abusing Shane in one presser then showing respect in another leads me to my conlcusion he does what he does based on emotion rather then selling the fight with PPV in mind. Or it could be a bit of both. Either way these are my opinions and if you dont agree thats fine but you dont have to agree to respect my opnion. Same as even though i dont agree with your opinion i still respect thats its your view.

I wasn't aware that he said that but if that's really the case then that would be crossing the line. Then again, maybe it's out of frustration due to hateful fans calling him names. Who knows. All I know is he seems like an ok guy until proven otherwise. You either like him or you don't - I guess that's what it comes down to.

  5. He is doin this **** to get in mosleys head. I mean not only does he have a fight to sell but he also has a fight to win. He tries to psychologically defeat his opponents before physically beating them. Shid, this is what we do in my neck of tho woods. If you get in a mu****as head just right, you are gonna throw him off of his game. I guarantee it.

Bleeding heart? Please. I don't have any sympathy for him (or you clowns). He is selling a fight. The crap he said about SSM in the first press conference was over the line in my book, but whatever. Mike Tyson said horrible crap. Hopkins said horrible crap. Ali crossed the line all day on Smokin' Joe. Now you demean Mayweather versus Ali? It is what it is... Smack talk.

You loud mouthed ****s... hmm? These are more of those code words. You little bigots really want to say one thing, but you are so weak that you keep talking in codes. I am not projectin crap, this is your true identity. What are my shortcomings? I think you are projecting. Say what is in your heart!

The only person that ish looks "valid" to is another bigot. Welcome to his world.

There's a lot of people worth having sympathy for, many in the sport of boxing.

They tend not to be the ones at the top level of the sport, making more in one fight than 99% of the other fighters do in their careers.

If you dont believe Floyd says half the **** he says to hype a fight then im sorry but u have no idea about 1. The personality of FMJ 2. The sport of boxing.

If Floyd was to sit there and actually act like a 33 yr old then neither u, me or anyone else would be pumped about this or any other fight. Whether you like it or not he puts asses in seats because he gets on everyones nerves. The bloke is about money, he loves money and if talking **** is going to generate more income then thats wat he'll do, the bloke will sell his dad if it means more money.

Just look at the way he totally "disrespected" Oscar leading up to their fight. Nowadays they're basically business partners. Consider they way he trash talks about suits versus his charity contributions and community service. More signs lead to hype rather than him being a disrespectful person. Why doesn't anyone talk about Ali's insults towards Frazier? There were some hurtful words that came from Ali. Why isn't anyone making a big deal out of Hopkins throwing down the Puerto Rican flag and his executioner mask? I mean I thought all those things mentioned are understood as part of the competitive side of Boxing?

I would disagree with that too. If that is how you do it? Great. If not? Great.

Do you do box? If you do then you know that it is literally unnatural for a guy to beat the crap out of another guy. It takes a special personality or lots of mental conditioning. Some guys gravitate to it naturally, the crazies (Mike Tyson). Some guys use a "method" to get "up", (Ali). Literally creating a mental illusion of not liking a man to prepare for the unnatural task of bashing his face in. Getting "up" is what I think you mean by "can't control it".

Personally I don't think FMJ is a naturally combative guy. This is why he boxes the way he does. He does not draw meaning from the fray. He boxes as a means to an end. He is also smart enough to know that "getting up" in public sells fights. So to your point, once he switches on there is an element of being lost in it.

It is like the actor that can no longer do an interview as himself (Robin Williams). He gets into character so much that even he doesn't know where the character stops and he begins.
